The "Little Bit" machine. It looks like a phaser from Star Trek. When you turn it up or down, it makes whatever you're messing with a little bit bigger or smaller to fit in the right spot. Like cutting a piece of trim and measuring twice, only to fuck up and forget blade width and now you've got a 1/16th inch gap and a piece of wood that's as good as garbage.
