Big real here. Been listening since biggest problem episode 3. I've left maybe 6 voice mails and a dozen comments in that decade. I listen while driving mostly but i don't think I've "liked" a single thing. Just didn't really think about it.

Vito has a good point. I've been a Patreoni at various levels since episode...idk, whichever the first one with JLH was. I've commented probably 10 times in those many years, and hit the like button even less. Lack of "engagement" doesn't correlate to lack of interest in the show. Most of the time, I'm doing something else while listening anyway, and I'm not willing to pause that task in order to shart out some asinine thought like this one.

At least if his theory was that you pumped the first 10k at 10% loss to drive interest and get the next 10k the argument would be you're spending 1k a month to make another 9. But that's still a lot of risk for 96k a year profit which wouldn't be worth it to anyone not as broke and desperate as Maddox when you could make about that much by just getting a job, considering he's supposedly able to code
