Speaking of smurfs, I remember that when I was a kid my parents bought me several smurfs figurines. The one figurine that stood out had jet black skin with bright red eyes. Looking into it, the smurfs started as a Franco-Belgium comic series. One of the original stories was “Les Schtroumpfs Noirs” which loosely translates into “The Black Smurfs”. The basic premise of the story is that one of the Smurfs gets stung by a fly and contracts a disease where their skin turns black, their pupils become blood red and they become enraged. They then proceed to bite other Smurfs and transfer the disease to them. When it came time to adapt this story for the cartoon series, the show runners changed the infected Smurfs from black to purple for obvious reasons.

I wonder how much sleep IRS workers lost when they sent me a bill for about $2500 (which at the time represented about 110% of my savings) with no explanation and I had no idea how to fight it, so hahahahahaha GFY’s entire workforce of the IRS now maybe they can understand the struggle of the people they have been stealing from.
