Maddox's behavior of responding to minor perceived slights by going nuclear- imploding relationships and threatening legal action, doxing, or to ruin someone's career- and the idea he has that whatever has happened to him is indicative of a major problem with society kind of makes him seem like he's got some of the mental issues he constantly accuses everyone but himself of having.
