Woman alert: my work is currently shifting to a new site and hired a woman to facilitate the move. We had a meeting to discuss the move and address our concerns, such as “the new site has almost no parking” and “some of us will be working in a basement with no natural light”. I can only guess that because she was addressing a bunch of scientists and lab technicians, she thought we were all a bunch of nerds and decided to compare us to the marvel avengers and that it was her job to move us to our “new HQ”. She then asked us which marvel avengers we were and if anyone wanted to be Captain America. It didn’t go over well.

The veterans who have worked 4 year contracts just to collect 100% disability for a broken finger, THAT’S PISSES ME OFF! My dad served 26 years and died at 50 of Gulf War Syndrome. When he applied for disability in the early 2000’s we considered it a miracle that he got 100%.
