Now that you know what to expect though, I PROMISEEE it’s so much better the 2nd time through. This album was a lighthearted representation of where Nicki is now. Admire your honesty. Also crazy how you somehow dodged the song Super Freaky Girl for over a year now given how it’s been out for a year and was huge back then. That song is a grower for sure but I agree with a lot you’ve said. RNB feat Lil Wayne really suprised me too with how good it was, my favourite aswell as FTCU and big difference right now.

Personally I liked this album. The few times she actually talked about it before the release she presented it as a full circle moment of her career/ body of works. She said in an interview she called it Pink Friday 2 cause she felt like when she was making Pink Friday, and had fun crafting this album. It’s like I can feel the fun and love she has for this album and it makes me love the project more. I also like that she tried new things on some tracks and she also did some old things she used to do 10 years ago so I understand your opinion for Pink Friday Girls and Super Freaky Girl. Also, her vocals are not the best but they’re still enjoyable to me so maybe that’s why I enjoy the album more idk 🤷🏾♂️

Totally agree, it was very disappointing. I was really expecting something amazing with all the hype, however i liked very few tracks. My problem is mostly with the samples: they feel like cheap shots to gain traction. A lot of bad production on some songs and vocals as well . And it is so strange to me why she sounds so weak vocally when we have heard her sing beautifully in the past on Grand Piano. I'll be completely honest, this album was quite underwhelming and I struggle to find why she titled it Pink Friday 2, because it's not sonically similar, nor even close to the original in terms of quality. It's filled with filler tracks and even the hits aren't that enjoyable imo. And she hyped this up as her best work to date so much, which just adds to the disappointment..
