The songs are Shining Spires by Harp, The Smallest Church In Sussex by Sea Power and Campanita by Summer Salt. I love them all dearly, and don't think I really did any of them justice.
Shining Spires in particular was really hard to record, both because it is right at the top of my vocal range (before I have to shift into falsetto) and because I cannot listen to or sing it without crying so much. You can hear me breaking at the end. I had recorded each phrase of the song so many times, and that was the best one I got. It was written by Tim Smith and Kathi Zung, who are married. The lyrics are so incredibly evocative, I think I could listen to this song 1,000 times and it would still make me cry.
The Smallest Church In Sussex may be recognisable to some of you as "The Smallest Church In Saint-Saëns" from Disco Elysium. Sea Power composed the soundtrack for Disco Elysium, and remixed a lot of their own prior (and some unreleased) work in the process. There are a few versions of this song on the album it was original included on, and none of them have the same composition as that in the game. I do wish they would release it properly. Ah, well. The piano version is nice, too.
Campanita was written by Matthew Terry about his late sister. It also makes me cry a lot. I kinda fucked up the harmony. Sorry about that.

Didn't know any of the songs. But since it was uploaded (on my birthday, don't believe in signs an stuff, but...) I just can't stop listening to shining spires without embracing myself. Feels like with each replay i get to love myself a lil more. I hope everyone who feels seen and heard by this can heal someday. And Phas, your voice absolutely delivers what those lyrics need. Pls don't undervalue your talents

Okay so far shining spire has me crying, smallest church had me crying quietly and the campanita had me crying and smiling.(to clarify good they are good tears..i cry when i hear really good music my brain is weird like that) This is amazing. Very emotion provoking. Where can I buy the cd?

Phas I know I commented once already but you know that meme where someone is like "How many times have you listened to it?" And the response is "yes" that is me with Shining Spires. It takes me 30 minutes to my job and 30 minutes back and I had that song on repeat the entire way both times. THAT is how much I love you singing these songs. I dont do that for every song mind you

It had been a really dark time for me lately and I had been bottling all my emotions up as I couldn’t find a way to let them out because how exhausted I was, and just listening to your singing especially the Shining Spires hit something inside and the dam was let loose, and all my tears and emotions went all out Thank you so much for being such amazing person! OH MAN, *WOW*. Shining Spires: I can hear how challenging it was, but only because I know how hard it is singing at the very tippy top of your range, but you still nailed those notes and didn't wobble. (And, honestly, hearing your voice crack with emotion only added to it, my little heart went "ow".) Smallest church in Sussex: I WAS VERY EXCITED ABOUT THIS ONE FOR REASONS YOU ALREADY KNOW, and you did not disappoint, it was LOVELY hearing this version, very melancholy and exhausted, and the harmonization was nicely done. Campanita: I hadn't heard of this one before today, but OH MY GOODNESS?? It's so sweet and cheerful and *wistful* and I can tell you've sang this a billion times and that it never gets old, all those emotions are almost *relentlessly* brought out in your voice. AMAZING. <3 Might be my favorite so far. So yes ALL HAIL THE PHASAOKE, you did a really wonderful job, thank you. :D
