I fell into reading about sharia law (Islam), which lead to me reading about the ON-GOING and CURRENT stoning of woman for "committing adultery," which lead to reading about the capital punishment onto gay men around the middle east.... men thrown off buildings and crowds of women and children cheering as they fall to their death... people being shot over and over in public fire rounds.... their crime? Being gay.... being ATTRACTED to another human being and wanting to express LOVE.... that's the CRIME --- love. I just..... ugh..... something popped up in my recommendations, and one thing led to another, and here I am 1 hour later reading about the HORRORS these poor people face in middle eastern countries because people think that their God wants this to happen. .... I feel so helpless and sad... I'm over here making money off of bragging about my Adultery experiences on youtube, and meanwhile women are being buried in the group up their necks while men and CHILDREN hurl rocks at their face until they bleed a slow and painful death.... I'm in tears..... CAN YOU IMAGINE THE PAIN???? omg I want to help these people so badly.... and it's a grim reality knowing that NOTHING is ever done on an international scale to help these people from barbaric practices. I feel sick to my stomach, I just want to stay in bed and cry. I've always known this stuff existed... My parents used to tell me how lucky I was to be in USA and be gay.... but every time to revisit this topic, I feel so weak, I can't even stand. It really really bothers me. Because as you know, this is how I was born. To me, sexuality if fluid and complex and a BEAUTIFUL thing to celebrate and enjoy with people. And to think if I happened to be born in that part of the world, just imagine the horrors that would be inflicted onto me.... A long time ago when I was a vegan youtuber (and I had way less followers and I could actually keep up with my DMs on IG), a man from Iran messaged me telling me how scared he was for his friends who were "suddenly missing" after their families found out they were gay. He told me he saw many public hangings and he had escaped to Turkey. I was really bothered by it because I remember asking him ( being much younger and trying to learn about Islam),something along the lines of "why are gay people attacked for just being born differently? What's the big deal? why does it matter to others how somebody else wants to express love?" just really innocent questions like that... and he told me it was because it was God's law, that Shiara Law was made by God and you had to obey that.... and It just makes no sense to me. The point of living, the existence of human beings, the desire to love and laugh and eat and experience.... that the creator of our bodies would WANT us to hurl rocks at peoples faced until they bleed to death.... that our creator would WANT us to throw people off of buildings or beat woman for driving cars.... and the crazy thing is... it's not like people just came up with these ideas randomly... these ideas about gay people and woman are literally written in their Holy Book....and it was written by PEOPLE... other human beings, who also thought the earth was flat or we were the center of the universe or that ALIENS didn't exist which we now know they do! ... and I get it, the Bible has graphic shit written in it too, You don't need to tell me..... just a quick google search and i see this..... "Teacher, this woman was caught in the very act of committing adultery. Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone such women." ... but I the difference is that Christian nations have REJECTED these things in modern civilization, whereas some of the Muslim nations have not. ... When's the last time you heard about gay people being stoned to death under a Christian Law in Europe or North America ? Never... but you can see that there was just another LEGAL murder of gay people in the middle east just LAST WEEK... and MANY of these cases are going under-reported by the islamic governments.... The BBC reported on this that they aren't getting the correct number of executions on gay people from some particular islamic states......ugh, I just feel so so sad for these people. You can't help who you are, you cannot just DECIDE to be attracted to something, and to be PUNISHED and KILLED for having a different feeling inside of you, ugh the horror. I feel so bad right now. What God would want to see this? Does this make sense to anybody??? Throwing teenage boys off of 5 story buildings because he kissed a boy??? and I'm also angry that this has been going on quietly for hundreds of years and in 2020 there has been no world-wide Human Rights initiative to help save these people.... why? Because they supply our oil and we don't want them to reject selling oil to us for impost? Why? Is it because Christian or Hindu or Jewish countries don't think Gay lives matter as much or it's too "Taboo" to start a war over gay lives? ..... Will anybody ever help these people? What about the woman who get raped in Iran or Saudi Arabia and it's allowed because it's only "4 men, not 5 or more."??? .....
I want you to imagine what it's like getting a rock thrown at your head? Just try it for a second.....You hear your ears buzzing and ringing, you can taste metal in your mouth, you can feel pain running through your body, you feel sharp agony and soreness throbbing on your head.... now think of the people who are being Stoned RIGHT NOW in the middle east, this is what happens to you.... a hole is dug into the ground and you are placed into it.... kinda like when you were a kid at the beach and your dad buried you in the sand... you are buried in the hole and the dirt covers your body all the way up to your neck. You can't move, you can't run away, you can't even turn around.... and you see dozens of men with rocks in their hands and one by one they throw the rocks at your face.... THE PAIN!!! THE MISERY!!!! THE TORMENT!!!!!!! INTO YOUR FACE... INTO YOUR EYES!!!! and you pray and pray that your soul leaves your body as fast as it can until you DIE!!!! in some of these Islamic countries, they make CHILDREN participate in the rock throwing.... you are being stoned to death by your own children!!!
One of the worst feelings is knowing that horrible things are happening to somebody RIGHT NOW for doing NOTHING wrong and there's NOTHING you can do to help..... I think if I was born gay in one of these countries I'd live a frightened life in 24/7 terror.... I feel so bad for these boys.... there's nothing I can do.

It never made sense to me that in a world so full of hate, why God would be so angry at two people of the same sex loving one another? This 'issue' in religion is that the act of homosexuality is deemed 'immoral' 'sinful' 'blasphemous'. Yet you could be in a heterosexual marriage and be immoral, unfaithful, hurtful, hateful and blasphemous. You can act immorally as an individual or as a nation. Defile one another and your own bodies. I personally believe this as a woman of faith- the meaning of life is love. Do all through love, share your body with someone you care deeply about and respect it, dont give it to any old person. Act in kindness, patience and understanding . Sexuality isnt something you choose but how you behave IS. Whether you are straight, gay, bi , and all the other types that exist- act through love. Respect your body and those of others, do not harm, do not segregate, do not isolate. No one man is riotous enough to go against another or has the right to judge and/ or condemn that is God's ( or whatever higher power) job. You could be the most moral clean living person living faithfully to gods word according to your religion yet the condition of his heart is corrupt. God reads hearts, he watches our actions yes, but we are only human and often in awful circumstances where our choices may be out of our control. I dont know what God actually believes is good and bad in detail, apart from what is immediately obvious to me/us ( murder ect) because of the dogma in religion. But I do believe in my heart that love is the place he wants us to act from.
You should look up modern slavery. Millions of people are slaves around the world today and hardly anything can be done to stop it. Its so horrible the shit that goes on in the world. We live in a sanctuary compared to so many other countries.

I have multiple Muslim friends and live in a Muslim neighborhood and they are amazing people and they have told me that many, many of them don’t believe these things. But yea, it’s fucked up what’s happening and it does make you feel helpless:(

I read this post last night and I did not know what to say, it’s shocking what goes on in third world countries and the ones especially stuck in the dark ages all because of a book, a freaking BOOK!!! how messed up that people kill someone just because a book tells them too!! Imagine if we gave them a new book with claims to do this and that and they somehow believed it came from their Allah, that they would actually follow it..., it’s messed up with a few thousand year old book can start such hatred and wars etc honestly in my opinion, the Bible, the Quran etc should be in the Fiction area because I believe it not to be Facts, yes there’s some good lessons to take from the Bible etc but doesn’t mean it has to be literal, it’s very scary and I feel for any person who is living in these countries and dying in vein!

The world is dark. It's terrible what humans do and go thru. I think you are doing something. The video you made the other day brings awareness about a topic I think many dont bother to even think about. Sharing information about what our governments are doing and speaking your truth may reach people that normally turn away from tough topics. It matters. You never know who you may influence and the difference they too will make.
Embrace each other , don't tear each other down. Nurture rather than torture. You are married . You chose each other freely. This is awful, I knew it was still happening, but whenever you get a reminder like this, it makes you feel sick to your stomach all over again. It is so sad that the only way we cope as humans when we hear these disgusting things is to push them to the back of our minds, as we know we can't do anything to change it, and it is too soul destroying to think about every day. Yes, vicious violent stoning, murder and rape is ok but loving someone isn’t. Why does it matter so much how people love. It should be their own choice who they choose to love. They aren’t hurting anyone. Its just their beliefs/opinion that tells some people that it is wrong. It doesn’t make it right though, does it. Loving same gender in consenting adults is never wrong and people that think it is and think that they need to be punished are heartless and have evil in their soul. Love you both. ❤️💚❤️

Sorry to hear you are going through those thoughts Nick. It's sad to say that what happens in another country stays in that country... especially when religion is involved. Im pretty sure things would have been done by other countries if the threats of wars weren't always at the door. The sad thing is this happens and the further down the hole you go, the more you will realize those horrible things happen to many other types of people, children, animals etc... due to beliefs or not. Places like this are truly vile and i have no idea why these thoughts are in their heads or even how this came to be in their religion in the first place. They say being homosexual is wrong, but apparently murdering people with stones is fine... ok that's fucking stupid if I ever heard it. What God would want you killing other people. Love who you love there is nothing wrong with that, same gender or not. It’s disgusting Nick, they also do it to Christians too. They take the Christians women and sell them as sex slaves. Ya remember what happen in Egypt a few years ago? Well they were taking all the Coptic Christians and shooting them dead. One of my friends from Egypt called me before they killed him in front me just to tell me to keep my faith in Jesus. The screaming of women and children and men during that Skype call was horrifying and I heard this mans last moments he chose to preach to me because I was the only person on Skype at the time. It’s horrible and it took a lot of time to forgive Islam for it. But I did by realizing they don’t realize what they are doing, the culture is toxic.

We are all over here worried about the little things in life like not getting a certain amount of likes on a post, or dragging each other through the mud because we don’t agree in politics. I think if there is one thing ALL humans can come together and fight WITH each other is the RIGHT to love whoever it is that you love. As a pan sexual woman it pains me to know that there are others like me who want to be proud but are frightened because their lives are on the line. I know! :( I'm not intolerant of religion, I'm intolerant of people using Religion to hurt people. That's what I think. And especially gay people. It breaks my heart because that could have been ME being thrown off a building rooftop! I know the Bible has bad things, too, I said it in my post. My point was that Christian nations have rejected those practices a long time ago. I can only hope for somebody or something to save those poor innocent souls being murdered for being like me.
There is truly nothing that anyone can do with what happens over in another country that have their own beliefs and justice system. As horrible and as sick that it is. I think that we all can agree that it needs to change. But how do we do that? I don't think we can. I have a Muslim neighbour he thought me a lot about his religion and told me the horrors. Year's ago I watched (why I don't know) a video about a woman getting stoned to death because she went out with a guy that wasn't the same religion as her. That video has never left my mind. I swore I would never read anything into that religion again because it is horrible, but so is being a catholic, we have had horror stories over here in Ireland and the uk. In the end people need to mind their own business and let people be who they want to be, live how they want to live, love who they want. I want to start saying I don’t have any religion but I know people need something to believe in to not lose faith in life or what they are going through. I would never say ban Islam . Every religion has it right to exist. The bad factor in all of that is the human being. Like you said in one of your YouTube videos: it’s how they interpret things. Is a glass half full or half empty or refillable. The humans are the worst animals towards their own species. No other animal is doing so much harm and pain and unnecessary torture to their own species like we do. I feel you Nick and that feeling of being helpless is overwhelming sometimes! Yes, the world is still so very uneducated and so very narrow minded.. I had problems with my very own father because I was with a women. And it hurt everyday for 4 years. I think it weighed a lot on my relationship.. knowing I couldn't make him happy. Finally now that I am way older. I have expressed to him I will love who I want and when I want. I hope you will always see the light through the sick darkness of this world. And everyone else. We all need more love in this world to keep it going.

This made me cry reading this, it really is so heart wrenching to think about stuff like that. I’ll never be able to understand how a person could have such a hateful and nasty heart. I couldn’t even stone my worst enemy to death, the thought is just so revolting and wrong. I appreciate you writing this and bringing us all to awareness with this. Living in America, we are all so fucking spoiled with how we’re treated opposed to how people in other countries are, it’s just way too easy to forget how other people have to live in other places.
