I don’t think that the call to action is too harsh or pushy—fans want to see you keep producing content. I might suggest speaking just a little slower so as not to startle the listener or sound too much like a list of side effects on a drug commercial. Slow down, connect to the listener more intimately since this is now you—not a character role play. The listener will interpret the call to action more as a conversation and be more likely to take an interest in you as a creator. Just my opinion! I hope you get your numbers up!

I listened to both versions. Obviously you’re not going to please everyone by including the CTA in the Youtube version - is there a skilful way to do it up front before immersion so that doesn’t get interrupted? However it didn’t bother me too much because it wasn’t a loud and jarring voice bouncing into the audio like Youtube adverts. As for your new vamp character - I enjoyed it and I’m intrigued to see where this goes next! Well done Audrey and Phas 🍷🍷🍷

Understandable, I would personally not be too bothered if it was at the start (despite the fact that I only listen to you on Patreon anyway 😅), but that is a real concern. I think just testing the CTA placement is a good way of handling it for now! Also, I really hope the algorithm stops being such a pain in the ass for you. It's a shame, you clearly put in a lot of work into your audios and you truly deserve to reach more people.

mm okay, thank you for that. breaking people's immersion is what i was most worried about - but i also worry that if i put it right at the start, a lot of people would turn off before the audio even got started. tricky! i could put it right at the end, but then, also, i imagine people would just click away when the actual role-play was done. i'll leave it in the middle for this one and see if a lot of people stop listening at that point, i think. all a bit of an experiment, this.

I grabbed my ear buds so fast and nestled into bed like a little gremlin when I saw there was a new audio. I'm really enjoying this character! Best job interview I've ever had. Regarding the CTA, I honestly think it's breaking the immersion too much, if it's placed in the middle of the audio. Is putting it right at the start an option? Unrelated, but the way you softly speak/whisper during the CTA is so pleasant, I wouldn't mind an entire audio like that lol.

Perhaps (and I know this would be more work for you) but do a ramble style call-to-action post for pat if you feel as though you need the extra support? I know for fact your Pats would jump at the chance to help out (Not me going to listen and like some of my favourite audios on YT as soon as I finished this). I know there’s many, myself included, who like the rant audios. Like the too-hot-duvet audio or the theatre part one. Just a thought. Much love <3

Ngl the little break had me laughing because it felt like a Deadpool 4th wall breaking moment with you slipping into and out of character at the drop of a hat. I think it's fine, but I'm also not the type to get bothered by these types of things, so consider this a grain of salt

you know what, the patreon version probably shouldn't have it at all, on second thought. it didn't occur to me that the patreon version could be different than the youtube version. i'm going to remove it! edit: ok, the patreon version no longer has the call-to-action, and i've uploaded that to Whyp instead for feedback. this is much better, i think!

We LOVE a saucy vampire! Ugh, the colour of your voice in this one is quite nice. As for the break: Mildly disengaging, a bit jarring for my case because I wasn’t paying attention but it wasn’t awful. Would I personally have preferred it without, yes. Do I truly care that it’s there, No. all in all it wasn’t that intrusive, if anything a bit funny. (For me on Pat and not YT. It would make 1000% more sense there, but I wouldn’t ask you to make two versions of the exact same audio.)
