Looks like the DMCA has been accepted and BID has been taken down, but as mentioned the damage has been done. Not to just the two of us but to everyone who supported so far.. BID wasn't done yet, there are about 24-30 pages left but we're not sure when and how to publish them after this incident. It will likely be left on hold for the month of January while we look for a solution. There will still be some other exclusive content in its place, so don't worry about that. Only, to all those who were looking forward to seeing BID finished, we ask you to be a little more patient than expected.

I'm Doc and I'm not speaking to just "Klcy", but all of you
We're glad you enjoyed our content so much that you are willing to give us money for it, many of you sticked with us since a long time and that warmes our hearts so much!
But please consider that we are just a duo of artist doing its best to entertain all of you, we are not a large company making profit on the backs of underpaid employees.
If any of you reupload our protected work on the internet it damages us greatly, each person who sees our content online for free is a potential patreon/fan less, less paying users mean we might have to close our activity entirely since we're already barely making enough to pay rent and food, I don't want to get into details but this is the sad truth. You have all been so generous with us so far and we hoped we could keep going like this, untill now..
Klcy you are a fan like everyone else here, so much so that you wanted to share our work with other people. But I hope you understand your actions have consequences, even if you take it down God knows how many people downloaded it and probabily are already reposting somewhere else, and what's the point of keep on working if we're not getting paid for it?
I'm not sure what we're going to do, not sure even if we're going to continue any previous work at this point. We just finished revamping the page, prepared ourselves for an exciting 2022 and this just happened.

I know, I always tought of BID belonging to us as much as it belonged to patrons, it's our first fully fleshed out story but you all contributed shaping it too and was meant to always stay that way. See it floating on the internet is heartbreaking.. We will keep working on it but for january it's on hold

It's impossible to know,, and even if we found the culprit nothing can be done. This is the internet and once stuff is leaked is leaked forever

somebody leaked all our content, it gets reuploaded on more sites and Doc has been spending the last two days by filling DMCA notices instead of working on coloring drawings

Man, it sucks that this all happened. I know it may be asking a lot but I pray that you don't lose hope and continue with your art endeavours. You do great work and I'm loving the passion and drive here. We've supported you all this way and will continue to do so, I just don't want a good thing to be ruined so easily.

NFT can't be stolen (so far), now I understand all those artist that switched to NFT.

Ya unfortunately the internet is a bit of a pandora's box in that sense. And that's even before things like NFTs got in the picture.

The reuploader didn't claimed as its own so the watermark doesn't do much. I filled a DMCA but even if it goes well the work is probabily already reuploaded somewere else. Doc has already experience with this sort of things since some random chinese wholesaler stole his copyrighted content and his stuff keeps foating on amazon and other sites, despite Doc contantly DMCAing everything. It's a never ending battle, once leaked it's leaked forever

I'm sorry that happened. Art can be daunting. Have you considered watermarking your work so there's at least some protection?
