Introducing Project O
🕑 Added 2023-10-29 21:33:13 +0000 UTCWell, I think its finally time to talk about what I've been working for the past while. For quite some time I've thought about working on an H-game, however my lack of programming experience has always made that seem like a pipe dream. On a whim however I decided to download Unreal Engine 5 about a month and a half ago and mess around with its visual scripting language. Although I still don't really know what I'm doing, from what I've been able to achieve so far I think creating a simple H-game might actually be feasible.
Hence Project O, a prototype of what could become a more full fledged game if things go according to plan. Currently, the plan is to stop working on Blender animations and instead focus on the prototype until around February 2024. After that I'll re-evaluate how things are going. If they're going well I'll continue and if not I'll likely leave the prototype as is and go back to Blender animations. Regardless I think the experience will be valuable and I hope the content will be something you guys enjoy.
Now, about the game itself. First and foremost, here's how things are looking so far in terms of presentation and art style.

I still need to give her a name, but the playable character will be an elven alchemist/zoologist of sorts whose currently sailed to a far off island to collect specimens from the local flora and fauna. In order to collect some of the specimens however, she'll need to use her feminine charms and abilities...essentially the objective of the game is to have sex will all the creatures on the island to collect their sperm. Although I still need to do more testing with regards to game mechanics, there are three core aspects of the game that I want to prioritize. Those being:
1. Simple but fun (not tedious) gameplay that directly ties into the h-content
2. Pleasant visual design and atmosphere
3. High quality animations and sexual content
With regards to the H-content, it will be pretty much in line with what I've done with my past animations. One difference however is that this will be my own intellectual property and thus the character assets will all be custom made. Still have a bit more work to do on him and still have to complete the rig, but it was a good learning experience getting an original design commissioned and the 3D artist is interested in creating any future creatures as well.
I know this may have been a bit unexpected, but I hope this project is something you guys will be interested in. The plan right now is to have the first playable build be available to supporters by the end of November. Please keep in mind the build will be very basic and will likely include just 1 masturbation animation as I'm still working on both creating animations as well as developing the animation system itself. I'm sure I'm forgetting to mention a bunch of important things but this post is already quite long so please don't hesitate to ask any questions in the comments. It's not disappointing to me at all, tbh I am not a long term supporter so I can't even be disappointed or mad or whatever. I wanted to see the news cause I saw you posted on twitter but I knew you weren't that active hence why I was curious that it might be something with you coming back to the RE girls or smth:D... I think it's important to fulfill oneself and it seems like this might be it for you. Even though the cartoonish style is not my fav style I am still rly curious to see what will you come up with. One last thing, please don't use catbox, it's probably not just me but the servers they have are the worst imo:D can't even play 2 seconds of those videos and if I'd try to download it would take years. I always used pixeldrain and it works wonderfully, but not forcing you)

Thank you! I know it might be a bit disappointing me not doing the usual content and video game characters, but I'm definitely looking forward to creating my own characters and world, and so far UE hasn't given me any major problems (yet)

Wow, good luck on your UE journey! I've played around with it just recently and it has insane capabilities, but I am a nob. I didn't even know it's possible to do nsfw stuff in it... But I guess if you're good with blender and other SW, you'll be able to achieve anything in there. I always hoped you'd make some longer animation with Claire and some of the insects you have, but no doubt you'll have plenty of fun on this project. Wish you all the best!
