He has a talent for being where his combat skills are needed, and at the Battle of Canterlot his skill will be needed more than ever! The preferred weapon of this unicorn juggernaut is three solid steel, spiked spheres that he can levitate and wield with devastating effect. In spite of his heavy armored appearance he's amazingly fast for short distances. Often surprising his opponents who thought they were out of range of his attacks. Also he has great endurance both physically and magically.

You're thinking of a flail (as a mace typically doesn't have chains). This one is even better, because he can have the spheres attack from multiple directions at the same time. The only thing he can't do is try and bind the target.

Wow! Nasty looking weapons. Sort of like a magic version of a sling staff stone.
