Applebloom practicing high kicks
🕑 Added 2019-03-01 21:21:01 +0000 UTCI've been fighting this persistent cold for the last week along with most of my household. Never enough to utterly KO me but it does a pretty good job of sapping one's strength. I should be good for tomorrow's 3/2/19 Picarto stream, but I am taking it a bit easy today.
So to make myself feel a bit better I did some study drawings today of Applebloom practicing high kicks. I imagined her kicking the crap out of my cold.
At her age the filly's greatest strength is in her hind legs. Years of farm chores. Two years of applebucking by this point, and a couple years martial arts and strength training have given her the ability to deliver a devastating blow with her hooves. That paired with her flexibility training have resulted in a filly that punches/kicks above her weight class. It's also has earned her the nickname Little Wrecking Ball.

Them especially. Less restraint required; colts might still learn better.

"Little Wrecking (of the) Ball(s)", more like. She probably has the instincts of a ratel in battle, mostly from fending off clueless colts.
