Fluttershy practicing with the whip.
🕑 Added 2018-08-13 01:40:23 +0000 UTC When I posted the milestone picture for my 6000th Deviant art Watcher some folks were surprised by the thought that Fluttershy might know how to use a whip. Or they assumed Petina must have taught her.This is something where the white one claims no credit.
"Oh no, no! Flutters knew how to use one long before she met me. If nothing else it is a tool sometimes used for certain types of animal handling."
So a couple of evenings ago Petina showed me in the Staging Area of my dreamscapes a video of the shy one practicing behind the back of her cottage with bull whip. It made for an interesting juxaposition.

Yep. Often she can just use her overall power of adorableness, but sometime she needs to show she's in charge and not to be trifled with.

Although she apparently taught herself and had some close calls at first and gave herself a couple of marks learning how to use it.

Ahhh good. Those things can leave a mark and she has such nice skin. In fact they can cut like a sharp knife.

She works with large and very large predators she going to need to know how to use one. And she takes any dealing with animals very seriously.

Let me rephrase that. She doesn't tag herself every other day. She practices every other day so she knows how to use and not tag herself.
