Often I've been able to dull the worst of their effects, but early Wednesday afternoon I was hit with one of the most horrific migraines I've ever had. The next 12+ hours we're agony and got almost no sleep. It subsided the next day but I was utterly drained physically and mentally.
Applebloom's possession by Deception is a perfect visual description of the pain from a migraine headache. The sheer pain, dizziness, nausea, blurred vision, and the roaring howls and ringing in my ears. Fortunately today I finally feel whole again.

Yeah. I tried several anti-migraine medicines over the years. They seem to work on principle that you'll be throwing up so much you won't notice you're having a migraine.

Yep, familiar with migraines. Hurts so bad you want to bang your head repeatedly against something hard, because your body/mind will focus on the physical injury/threat to the body instead of the migraine, and the head injury will hurt less than the migraine and be a relief.
