Nightmare Rarity is one of those characters who on several occasions I've thought. I should draw a picture of her sometime....and then promptly forgot about it. So last night I decided. Sure, why not. Folks might like it.
I had only been drawing the character for a minute or so when I noticed I already had 3 time stamp messages on Twitter offering to buy it. All 3 had the same time stamp on them. Overall I got 6 requests for this piece last night.
As I kept working on the drawing Petina spoke up in my head.
"I do believe, that this is an untapped market. You might want to think about doing a few more pieces of her in the future."
One thing I will note is that shading her mane and tail took some time. Nightmare Night, Mane-iac, Nightmare Rarity, any of the supernaturally powerful pony villains have had huge manes and taills!
