He's that rarest kind of surfer... one that isn't a territorial dick... (There's a bunch of nearby California beaches where if you're not part of the local surf clique they harass the crap out of you til you leave, sometimes violently)

I imagine in a world where things like cutie marks exist I could see monogramming being something that is done more there.
