Cedric Moon

Your monster is even worse than Freddy Krueger! X)

Omny

Doesn't matter- If Sweet Tooth catches someone while they've stopped moving, they vanish from reality, though they still "exist" within the dreamworld. Of course from there they are taken back to Sweet Tooths lair and devoured alive entirely, fully aware and undying during the whole meal to the end. What happens to them afterwards is known only to Sweet Tooth. The only difference with lucid dreamers is that they are slightly more aware of what's going on, so really they are worse off.

Cedric Moon

I'm sorry if you've already explained that. If we die devoured in the dream, the disappearance is systematic or it's in certain cases only? (Like lucid dreams, for example?) And the reaction of the willingly sacrificed, in the end, is not much different from someone who would freeze in fear in front of something threatening his life!

Omny

Well, in that case, Sweet Tooth would kill them as normal, though they wouldn't be any more merciful with that person than with anyone else. Sweet Tooth has no desire for worship or affection from humans, and would probably think even less of the human in question for doing something so hilariously stupid. The human, meanwhile, would most likely regret their decision as they are slowly and painfully torn apart and eaten without any care or intimacy and not just killed, but erased from history and reality entirely.

Cedric Moon

Let's imagine, we fall in an few likely but possible case, that the person in his lucid dream accepts his fate and literally offers himself to Sweeth Tooth? (Put like that, it may sound strange, but we must not forget that in ancient religions some people voluntarily offered themselves as sacrifices to the gods.) If I haven't misunderstood, like in Matrix, if you die in the dream, you also die in reality?

Omny

Its very unlikely- Sweet Tooth rarely shows up in dreams in its full form, typically taking whatever shape will most likely get that person to run away (what form they take isn't entirely voluntary; its based on who's dreaming. It could be a werewolf, a swarm of flies, or even a panzertank). Plus, most people have no control over their actions in dreams, so whether or not they're afraid of it in real life hardly matters; they will run. Of course there's lucid dreamers, who would otherwise dismiss monsters in dreams as mere figments of their own imagination. But Sweet Tooth is something different; something alien to your own mind. Looking at them in a dream, some part of you instinctively realizes that whatever this thing is, it's not only real, but a real threat that will kill you if you don't get away.

Cedric Moon

Do you want to be the next Stephen King? ^^ I have a question. In the rare but possible case that "it" comes across someone who is not afraid by "it"?! See who is not afraid of being devoured?! What would happen? What would "it" do?

SFaccountant

They just seem like an all-around swell guy! Er, thing.
