🕑 Added 2024-06-10 17:33:27 +0000 UTCTwilight Sparkle looked at herself in the mirror as she finished adjusting her short black cocktail dress. Happy with what she saw the alicorn picked up her small purse and stepped out of the bathroom.
The late afternoon sun poured through the large windows of the hotel suite. A steady breeze blew through the open sliding patio door, causing the gauzy white curtains to ripple and sway. Stepping out onto the balcony the Princess of Friendship took in view before her. The Sunrise Hotel was located on one of the highest hills in Neighpoles. From here Twilight could see most of city below her and beyond it the Bay of Neighpoles. The bay sparkled like diamonds beneath a brilliant cobalt blue sky that was dotted with white fluffy clouds. However it was something else that really caught her attention.
Sitting perched on balcony wall was Page Turner who was looking at the city below her. Sensing the princess's arrival the unicorn back flipped off the wall and landed on her hooves. Then she started slowly walking toward her. This gave Twilight plenty of time to admire her current outfit. A sleeveless white top was open in a wide vee that revealed short, snug black leather bustier. High waist, black leather pants were cinched by narrow girdle of black leather. The pants had cutouts up around the sides of her waist revealing her cutie mark. Calf-high boots and short gloves made up the rest of the outfit.
The other bits of the unicorn's kit were a shoulder rig holster with a compact 9x19mm pistol with spare magazine pouches. The final component was a snug, sturdy collar of black leather with stout steel ring around her neck. Coming to a halt in front Twilight the unicorn smiled.
"So your highness. Ready to leave for ball?" The unicorn glanced to the balconies on the left and the right. On both of them were Royal Security Officers watching the surroundings. One of the looked at Page and nodded her hear. The unicorn looked back at Twilight.
"Besides. I think the rest of the security detail are getting bored."
Twilight took a deep breath. "I guess so, but I hate these stuffy events." She looked at Page. "But having you by side I can endure these things."
The unicorn adjusted her shoulder holster and then hugged Twilight. "That's why I'm here to protect you. Now let's head on out." A recent moment from my Royal Equestria Security Forces (RESF) dreamscape.

Oh, she's very pretty in that! It does make me wonder if more Equestrian fashion (anthro!) goes for revealing the cutie mark.
