Status update
🕑 Added 2017-04-23 18:12:03 +0000 UTC Hey everyone, I'm really sorry I haven't updated in a while. I'm not gonna lie, part of it is because I've been playing Persona 5, but that's far from the only thing - fair warning, this post might get a little heavy.Life has just been kinda.. weird and overwhelming. A lot of little things and some big things. The cold I came down with a bit ago hasn't really gone away; it took me a while to figure out what was up, but apparently I went and developed a pollen allergy that I didn't have before, and since I live in Georgia the pollen counts are fucking ridiculous right about now, leading to a lot of tiredness and coughing. Aside from that, I had a weekend trip to see my sister and her kids for Easter. It was great to see her again, but travel is always exhausting and stressful for me, especially when I'm already dealing with a cold/allergies. My father's cancer treatment has been going.. well.. less than ideal. As much as I want to believe he'll be okay, I honestly don't know if he's going to be around much longer, after the things he's told me, and that terrifies me more than words can say. I can tell he's tired of fighting. Today I was unable to sleep for more than maybe 4 hours total, and I feel like complete shit all over. I honestly have no idea where it came from, since I've actually been feeling (and sleeping) pretty well the last few days, aside from the allergies. A lot of stuff just hit me pretty hard last night, from my dad's situation to my own health problems to the shitty way I've been treating all of you, and it just got really overwhelming. This post isn't meant to be excuses for the slow progress, I just want to be perfectly transparent with all of you so you know what's going on, and to apologize for the lack of updates regarding the game - to that end, I am truly sorry for the lack of updates throughout April. I'm sincerely hoping I can get over this slump soon, so we can get the update out sometime in May at least.
The good news is that other members of the team have been getting stuff done, so we're not at a complete standstill, and I should have some related things to show you all soon - like the new Deep Soil tiles and background. I owe a lot to the other people working on Crisis Point with me - Orexius, Arsministrator, Redd, Lustfire, and the musician who will not be named. Crisis Point wouldn't be the same without them, not to mention every single one of you patrons that's making all of this possible with your support.
Enough rambling from me, though. Thank you all so, so much - words can never repay the support and patience you've given me, so I'm just going to have to make up for it with Crisis Point itself.. you know, considering that's the reason you're all here.

something is better then nothing....as long as we know you are alive and have not abandoned the project...even if all you do is to pop in saying"hey guys sry progress is slow but im still alive and kickin" thats fine with me everyone needs a break every now and then....long as i know you have not abandoned the project im satisfied the rest of the info is unnecessary...

hear hear, life is harsh sometimes, we cant help much with what's weighting on you but we sure can be patient and understanding of your circumstances, I for one have faith that the game will be worth the investment in the end, so keep on trucking and take care of yourself!

Hey man, don't worry so much about it. Your personal life should always take precedence, especially when dealing with heavy stuff like your dad's condition.
