🕑 Added 2017-05-24 08:02:36 +0000 UTC Hey everybody. First off, apologies for the radio silence ever since my last post. I should have at least been responding to you guys, but.. well, I've been more or less shut down the past few weeks, trying to get my mind off of my father's passing as much as possible by distracting myself with friends, games, food, ignoring responsibility, what have you. But surprise surprise, several of those have just been making things worse. Eating your feelings away has never worked out for anyone, and ignoring responsibility (at least in my shoes) has just lead to ever-increasing amounts of guilt. The less I work, the more guilty I feel, and the harder it is to feel normal again. At some point, something has to give - either you all get sick of it and leave, or I get my act together and move forward. Personally, I'd prefer the latter - you all have given me such an amazing opportunity through your support, and I don't want any of you to leave feeling like I haven't given it my all to finish Crisis Point (and all future games) and make them as good as they can be.I guess what I'm saying is just a convoluted way of apologizing - not just for the last few weeks, but for the several slow months before that as well. Life was bound to get in the way and slow things down eventually, but I have a bad tendency of shutting myself off from the world when things get stressful, and that's something I really need to work on - not just for you guys, but for me as well. It might take me a little bit to get back to normal completely still, and I apologize ahead of time for that, but I'm officially coming out of my little hiding hole as of now. Feel free to vent your frustrations with me here or in private if you need to - lord knows you've all been absolute saints with me thus far, despite how long this block has been going on, so you all deserve it at this point. As the saying goes, life goes on.. and I've got some catching up to do.

Thanks for that, man. I've definitely been better but I'll make it through. Just trying to surround myself with the people I care about as much as possible. I just hate how much my work has been suffering because of all this.

Shit, I come here to get some information on this wonderful looking game and then I get hit by this. I'm really sorry man, cancer really fucking sucks. I'm hoping me pledging might raise your spirits somewhat, but I'm sure most people totally understand that you needed some "you" time.

Loved ones dying is unfortunately part of life, and sometimems it feels absoloutly abhorrant, but as time passes, it will get less painful, nothing can take the place of close family, but i hope you cope, and please... get better coping mecchanisms, its not healzthy to seperate yourself and mourn alone (coming from someone who dose the same thing as you)

Honestly don't feel guilty about reacting the way you did, you're only human, just because you know that you'll react a certain way doesn't mean you can avoid it. We all need to grieve in our own way. Glad to hear you're starting to feel better though. Keep on keeping on Anon!

I just checked the page with the intent to message you some encouragement, but see that you've got it all on yourself. Keep your chin up, your fans are behind you all the way.
Just be sure to be kind to yourself, and especially, forgiving to yourself, the same way you would be to anyone else in that situation. You aren't deserving of anyone's ire for dealing with this how you can. But I hope you all the best in your recovery from this loss and this situation, and hope you can get back on your feet so you can start feeling good about you again!
Hey man, don't feel bad about all that. Life absolutely gets in the way, especially after something really big like that. I suffer from Clinical Depression and High Anxiety and, I totally understand what you're going through there. Getting into one of those holes, one of those ruts, can be so easy, and so hard to get out of. Just making any progress to get through the day, is commendable when you're working through all that.

I can totally relate to that dude, Ive been here 3 time myself over the last 5 years and you can't let that guilt eat you up and just look out to your true fans for the support then listen to their feedback. Negativity adds nothing to the project so when you're ready, try and find a positive focus and get yourself back on that horse. Everything other than your own well being can wait.
