Status update, possible game content changes

Sorry there hasn't been a post in a while, but these past few days have been pretty hectic.For those of you that haven't heard, Patreon recently updated and reinforced their stance on certain elements of adult games. I highly recommend you do so, because in the near future, I will be reevaluating every aspect of Crisis Point to make sure that it adheres to these new guidelines. I don't expect to have to change the game much, for the record - I don't believe there is much in this game that doesn't already follow the guidelines, and the few things that might not can be easily replaced. That being said, I wanted to inform you all of these impending changes now. Those of you that are unhappy with the shift, I don't blame you if you want to cancel your pledges - however, please understand that these changes are necessary for me to continue my work through Patreon, and I personally do not believe these changes will hinder my creative vision for the game in any way.
With that out of the way, v.28 - I want to get it out of the way now and say that it's very possible it won't be done by the end of the month. Sadly, all the hubbub the aforementioned changes caused kind of threw me off for a few days, so I'm a bit behind where I wanted to be. That being said, I don't think v.28 is far off at all. I expect to have it done, at the latest, within the first week of November. The only major things left are writing up an intro sequence, implementing the new blaster chips (which I might just push back, depending on if it would delay the update or not), and finishing the rework of the 1st boss. Probably worth mentioning now that we pushed the 2nd boss rework back, it will no longer be coming this update, since it just has way too much to rework. I did make some tweaks to the fight though, so it shouldn't be anywhere near as annoying to fight - I removed the Tar status effect entirely, and since it's no longer required to wash away tar I also removed the water pool at the bottom of the arena.
Anyway, I think that's all I had to say today. Thanks for your patience and understanding everyone; even if v.28 doesn't come out on time, I'm still proud that we're going to have it so quickly compared to the last few updates. Things are looking up.

I don't intend to stop pledging, I'm just hoping for some clarification on what you think won't get you in trouble with these new guidelines/clarifications. Have you sought any further clarification from Patreon's staff?

I'm posting this here, since I don't have a Discord anymore (wasn't all that keen on it) but doesn't the new guidelines technically to some extent render the content of this game non-viable? I mean, I believe some of it will come down to whether anyone reports things or not but...

I honestly believe that what you said is Patreon's viewpoint on the matter - regardless, they have advertisers to answer to and PR to maintain, without whom Patreon would not exist, and I wouldn't be here making this game. It's way too complex of a web for Patreon to just let anything and everything fly, unfortunately.

And again, I have to reiterate that I don't want this being discussed here on patreon, because as I said in my reply to Decanter above, most of us are convinced they're using a bot to scan pages for certain terms and then taking those pages down, which I am trying desperately to avoid. For the record, these restrictions are almost identical to the ones they had before, just with less ambiguous wording.

I see the Patreon changes not really as changes but just clarifications. I don't think that most of the creators are doing anything wrong. I think a lot of people are over reacting a bit.

Wow, that's a lot of new restrictions. Part of me thinks it has to do with SJW-type people complaining about non-consensual sex that isn't even real, but I can't say anything for sure. In any case I'm not really seeing how that's only going to affect a few animations, because it seems like most of the game is based around alien creatures doing as they please with no regard to Alicia's opinion, and quite a few of them aren't remotely humanoid.

Don't worry, our adult content isn't going anywhere. Some animations might need to be altered to some degree, but Crisis Point will still be an 18+ game once all is said and done, and I don't expect to have to change more than one or two animations.

Sorry, but I had to delete this comment - right now a lot of us devs are assuming that they're using a bot to scan for keywords and taking down pages based on that, which is why I asked for this to not be discussed here in the comments. I don't know if it extends to comments too but I'm not willing to risk it right now.
