I have always had mixed opinions about garter-sock buckles: the bit that links the thigh-high stockings to the belt dangling from the garters. Should it be a non-adjustable buckle or an adjustable truck-tie-down? Should it be an open loop for additional thigh squish or a solid piece for additional design space? Should it be metal, plastic, cloth, or a mix of all three? Should it be larger or smaller? Should it be redundant or structurally significant?
