The self-voices that accompanied pretty all my life judging my body (you're too fat/broad/chubby..., your legs are too big blablabla) are still there sometimes... As a tennager and young woman my strateges to tackle them were very different: not coming from a place of care or love, they were self-destructive. My body weight fluctuated massively from time to time, my dieting and my exercise regime could be brutal; all that. I lived not loving my body for decades, hating it.
Such a difference of being in the world right now. I doesn't not mean that those voices have disappeared completely. However, now I listened to them with compassion and with a different awareness, and I have my strategies so they do not take control of my life.
I sometimes still miss my flat belly, but I don't miss my anxiety. I sometimes miss my firmer thighs, but I don't miss being obsessed with exercising everyday in order to balance my food intake...
Being healthy on all levels (physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually), and living in a healthy environment (community and nature) is the most important thing for me. Not my weight.

Aw Roger, I really appreciate your comments, thank you for your appreciations regarding many important aspects. I particularly love that you feel that I'm a kind witch... This means a lot, I admire witches, those sage women connected to the land, with great wisdom and experience, and going their own way. Yes, the erotic, eroticism, the caleidoscopic lifeforce rather than the one-dimensional sexual as you say!

About you; it's your joy that comes across so well in your photos, with a little impishness and the sense that in real life you are a kind witch. You also understand the erotic which isn't the same as being one-dimensional sexual. As far as I'm concerned you can eat as many pastries as you like, I'll still love what you do.

As I've got older I focus more on my enjoyment of life than how others see me, this is probably easier for a bloke because we're not brought up to create an image of physical perfection. I used to worry about standard male stuff; size of gut, size of penis, weak chin, can't remember what else. Now I know there was nothing to worry about and I don't care. Naturism helps.
