Minimap Widget idea
🕑 Added 2023-07-22 15:26:27 +0000 UTCNot really a Edge UI thing, but while doing my research on what UI/UX elements modern games use and have in common, I came across the minimap, which is actually not a really new type of a widget by itself, but wasnt used in skyrim for some reason. Would you guys use the minimap widget in skyrim, or is compass + map enough?

I'd love this as an option. I try to emulate a modernized morrowind ui layout and this is a staple for that.

Damn, I really hoped that dragon's eye wouldn't be performance heavy

Issue I find with Skyrim Minimaps (both the Dragon's Eye and the SE-only version by Felisky) is that even with a really beefy computer, they tend to cause stuttering and slowdown.

Any widget replacers will be optional
I'm not particularly a fan of a minimap, I don't even use the regular map. If you were to add such a widget, I'd prefer it to be optional.
