It makes sense Devon would call Cobel, from her point of view. I see a lot of reactions yelling at Devon for calling her. but it makes compelte sense given the situation. 1. She doesn't know Cobel like Mark S or the viewer does. 2. Yes, she's a Lumon employee therefore cannot be trusted...BUT, the one thing Mark told her about the OTC event was Selvig/Cobel was encouraging him to quit Lumon. That already suggested a rift between her and the company. 3. Selvig/Cobel is the only other person from Lumon devon knew. Sure, Selvig/Cobel was lying about being a wetnurse/nanny/midwife...but they did spend a lot of time together and had gotten close. (Selvig/Coble left the baby, didnt steal it) 4. Devon trusts/knows the Reghabi woman less. She was a Lumon employee as well, and for all intents and purposes she's proving to be harming Mark more than helping. Plus, they were doing it behind her back. 5. Most importantly, Devon had been obsessed about the Lumon birthing facility and the severed using it to birth. Devon knows Selving/Cobel had ties with that facilit as well during their working together during the pregnancy. Selving/Cobel would be their best chance to utlize it to reach Mark's innie in a way that he hasnt been able to do until now. Selving/Coble makes much more sense for Devon to turn to than put trust into this Reghabi experiment basket.
