Weapon Selector + Force Powers
🕑 Added 2022-10-13 22:19:29 +0000 UTCA quick update to show the progress on JKQuest. Dr. Beef has implemented something similar to the VR weapon selector he made in Quake3Quest. Here it can be quickly-scrolled (via the in-game cursor) to pick not only weapons, but also force powers and your inventory, previously inaccessible. Your arsenal for slaying those Stormtroopers just got that much more fun. This selector has already shown its worth in the high-octane MP battles of Quake 3. Here you have a bit more time to choose how you are going to punish the Empire (with slow-motion when it is active).
We are pretty close to the next playable in-development version to be released. Just cramming in as much as possible before then.
P.s. You'll notice the left hand looks very odd. That's a WIP and will look far less wonky in the next version

I love the idea of time slowing down when the Weapon/Item wheel is open.
Do you think it's possible somehow to have a 6 axis control from strangulation power ? Kinda same things than in tales from the galaxy’s edge levitation
We're going to put out this version and let people try. What a lot of people don't realise is force powers are motion controlled. So you can control things like the grab with the off hand to move the enemies around. Doing this feels a lot better than a simple wii type gesture. Still we have some ideas of small tweaks depending on the force power.

I rather have force power bound to specific gestures with grip button.
Looking forward to this. I really like that force powers have their own wheel because I think most people will either do a jedi or gunslinger playthrough
