What had started off as a psyop to prank the Empire had quickly spiraled out of control.
From the relative safety of Pause, Corvus found himself within the royal cinema. A giant, gaping hole had been blown in the ceiling, and piercing moonlight shined down from Naboo's twin celestial bodies.
Disappearing down a hallway, Jax & Yon had taken their faux duel elsewhere, leaving both himself and Kenobi to duke it out. Imperial clone troopers were constantly pouring into the premises, and despite their overwhelming firepower, Obi-Wan showed why he was known as a master of Soresu. Hundreds of clones had been incapacitated or killed due to reflected shots. And this was all while he held Corvus down!
At that very moment, Corvus was standing on a seat in the theater, and had just jumped back, creating some distance, and a brief amount of breathing room.
Several times, he had tried to get a word in edgewise, but Kenobi's speed was superior to his own, and he was constantly gasping for air between attacks! Worse still, he couldn't [Shadow Hop] away unless he was willing to ditch his Bond identity! The Imperial clone troopers were watching, and a scout squad was hanging at the back, relaying everything that was going down in this theater back to command! If he revealed an ability exclusive to Revan, then he could kiss this sweet psy-op goodbye!
Mentally grinding his teeth, he wished he could just yell at the damned bearded Jedi Master. The one time he got a few words out, Kenobi had all but ignored him!
Obi-Wan had said something along the lines of “I don't negotiate with Sith” and then upped the ante!
The man was a beast of the worst sort. He didn’t take risks, and patiently parried or deflected everything that Corvus had to throw at him. It really went to show how a comprehensive understanding of the other saber forms would strengthen the one you had mastered. Because to Corvus, all of Obi-Wan's stances, and katas appeared foreign. Whereas to his fellow Jedi Master, whilst he wasn't skilled in Form VII, he was at least familiar with it, and knew how to counter his moves. Right now, he was experiencing the kind of frustration a noob would feel when going against a pro. Like someone who bought a max-level account, with epic gear, only to get spanked by some hobo-looking random!
After the excursion in the tunnels, Obi-Wan's immaculate Jedi robes had become torn, and filthy, yet here he was, and already, two warm gashes had struck the knee pad, and armguard of his beskar armor!
Experiencing all of this, Corvus had had enough! If Obi-Wan wasn't going to play by the rules, then he would have to start spamming Force powers, and work with these Imperials! Of course, his goal would be to kill-or subvert-all witnesses before revealing himself. But before that, he would have his revenge!
Un-Pausing, he threw out his hand, and cast [Force Push IV]. This skill had moved massive pillars, and splattered a Blackwing virus infectee! Now its full might was sent at Obi-Wan!
Row after row of theater chair was sent into the sky, and a large cloud of debris surged out of the room's hole, and into the sky as he unleashed his all mighty push. Steel beams rippled, and a hundred objects rushed towards Kenobi, alongside an invisible shockwave of epic magnitudes.
“Agent Bond, sir, the struts, you'll collapse the building!” A Lieutenant screamed out in warning.
Seconds later, chunks from the ceiling began to fall down, and crushed a handful of clones who failed to scramble for cover. Other troopers-the ones who were too hardwired due to their programming-didn't even try to dodge. Many of these men stood absolutely still, and continued to lay down blasterfire. They were crushed where they stood, but the chips in their brains made them slaves. Servants that solely focused on the eradication of the Jedi!
For a moment, Corvus worried for Obi-Wan. Staring into the dust, and debris, he couldn't see the man, but he knew his attack was seconds away from impact. Furthermore, the thousands of blue bolts rushing their way into the debris was an added level of danger. Kenobi's only had a basic clone armor set under that tattered robe. He hadn’t accepted a gift of beskar, deeming it unbefitting of a Jedi!
Obscured to the world, Kenobi's response was to meet violence with calm! Absolute serenity emanated from that eye of the storm, and the unrelenting force that pressed down upon him dropped like a hammer. Gravity seemed to press downward, and all of the chairs, popcorn bowls, and other miscellaneous movie theater objects dropped to the floor like a marionette that had its strings cut. Not even the plasma bolts were safe! The thousands of lethal rounds seemed to swim around Obi-Wan like a piece of metal repulsed by a magnet! Scorch marks littered the room, and it looked like a tornado had ravaged the place, yet one conspicuous, man-sized location remained spotless.
Corvus felt his breath hitch as he witnessed this stupendous application of the Force. The Lightside sang to the heavens as one of its champions rose to the occasion.
As the dust cleared, a single blue lightsaber illuminated the gloom. Its hum was soft, and vibrant. It promised safety, security, and the assurance of a Jedi Knight. Then the moonlight pierced the dust, and shone upon Kenobi like some divine being that had descended upon the mortal plane.
For the briefest of moments, even the clones held their fire. Such was the shock & awe that had been visited upon them, that not even the cold Kaminoan programming could rouse them to violence.
The Force was with him.
The moment was ruined, as the borrowed kyber crystal Corvus was wielding roared in fury. An uncontrollable anger unexpectedly latched onto his psyche, and tried to influence him. Thankfully, he was immune to the machinations of the Darkside due to his [Jedi Shadow] prestige class. However.
However, that brief contact had reflected his aura over the men, and now the clones were all fired up!
“What are you waiting for?”
“Kill him!”
The boys in white began to blindly charge at Kenobi with reckless abandon. Mobbing Obi-Wan all from the front, they began to ever so slightly push him back. Slicing and dicing through them like a Christmas ham, he finished off the last of the clones in the theater with ease. Just as Corvus thought that they could end this charade, and he could unmask himself, the ceiling chose that moment to almost completely collapse.
Hovering into view, a LAAT pointed its searchlights down. Even further up, a Venator entered low orbit, their scanners doubtlessly were watching this fight with great interest.
Obi-Wan didn't have much time to gather himself, as the LAAT fired multiple concussion missiles, forcing him to dodge.
Cold air gushed onto the scene, making Corvus's cloak flap like mad. His mask lense flared as it contained the bright lights, and explosions. Subtly swiping his hand, he redirected most of the missiles into the Imperials nearby. White armor soon turned black as the unfortunate clones met their maker. He felt bad for them, but each death was an extra (+250exp). War was cruel, war was wicked, and only the living had the last laugh.
Breathing deeply, he recalled what this was all for. That night of murder, when he saw clone troopers gun down defenseless Jedi, when Vader snapped the necks of younglings, of Palpatine coldly ordering Order 66. The pain Yoda had sensed through the Force lightyears away had been fresh to his then-nascent Force abilities. The death of so many Jedi had been like a sun suddenly disappearing. There, and then gone in an instant. He then recalled that sickening feeling of Palpatine’s rage, of the astrological phenomenon that scorched Geonosis's surface clean of all life. He couldn't afford to slack, not here!
Tonight, he would buy time for the Bad Batch to execute their mission!
Igniting his lightsaber, crimson spilled across his black mask, flicking his hand, he then drew a blue saber. Bathed in the moonlight, Corvus stood tall, his focus sharp as can be.
Obi-Wan, meanwhile, had defeated the LAAT, and dropped down from a height that would kill a normal man with the grace of a cat. Taking up his classic pose with one arm pointed forward, and his saber poised to strike like a scorpion's tail, Kenobi waited.
He didn't have to wait long, as the critically damaged LAAT careened downward trailing smoke. The vehicle's engines screamed, and fire gushed out of its engines as it slammed down at Corvus.
‘This is it.’
Using the spectacle to his advantage, he cut through the flaming wreckage, and pushed himself to his absolute limits. Obi-Wan was faster than him, more knowledgeable than him, and more experienced, having fought in dozens of duels. But the one thing Corvus had over Kenobi-that wise sonnuvabitch-was TENACITY!!!
Using Pause-buffering to help mitigate the difference in speed, and pushing both the skill [Two Weapons Fighting], and his understanding of Juyo to its maximum, he called upon all of the Bonds he shared once more to fill his spirit. Instead of some big Force attack, he drew upon Sev’rance's cruelty, Keira's martial spirit, Jax's wild pride, Yon's unwillingness to surrender, Huego's ferocity, and his kyber crystal's love to temper his state of mind!
Eyes blazing white with [Force Sight]-something that only other Force Sensitives present would be able to witness-he acted as a conduit of the Force, both Light & Dark.
Where before, Obi-Wan's attacks seemed unpredictable, now he felt as if he had a second of foresight before it arrived. As a Jedi, they both possessed some level of precognition, however this was nothing more than a feeling. In his current state, he could quite literally see the next slash, stab, or parry. The subtle angle of Kenobi's blade, the gentle-yet deadly flow of the next turn. It all began to make sense.
Stabbing forward with the wildness of Juyo, he then flicked the red saber in his left hand down at his opponent's knee. Kenobi withheld a grimace as a microscopic mote of heat grazed him. He was quick to replace any worry with an air of solemn grace. Kenobi then went on to block an overhead, a side swipe, and diagonal cross to the neck.
Ducking low under a return swipe, Corvus locked blades, forming an X.
During their power struggle, Obi-Wan began to toss items around the room at him. Chairs, and other things struck him in the back, providing an opening. Kenobi went to swipe at that very same knee guard from earlier, completely snapping it clean off after repeated strikes. Using Pause, and this new state of being, Corvus perfectly calculated how far his blade would go-knowing he wouldn't lose a leg-and purposely took the hit so he could land a mean roundhouse kick to Kenobi's side.
Beskar plated boots met the resistance of a lightsaber, but it didn't matter, as his momentum was too great! The tip of his boot met Kenobi's ribs with a sickening crack, sending the Jedi Master sprawling to recover.
“Let's end this farce.” Corvus coldly intoned.
Electricity began to brew at both of his fingertips as he glared daggers into Obi-Wan's eyes.
“Oh I couldn't agree more.” Obi-Wan ran a hand through sweat slicked hair, and projected an aura of confidence.
Without holding back-so as to make it convincing for the Venator looking above from low orbit-he unleashed the double handed [Force Lightning IV]!
Much to his surprise, Obi-Wan returned the favor, and a brilliant burst of [Force Judgement] collided head on with his attack.
A great deal of light, and energy choked the air. Light & Dark vied for supremacy as giant arcs of uncontrolled power tore the palace of Theed asunder. On its own, his attack was impressive enough, but when it met this Lightside version, an unknown amplification effect was added on!
“I think we're quite ready to call it quits, don't you think Mr. Bond.” Obi-Wan yelled over the roaring thunder.
“You knew the entire time, didn't you!” Corvus angrily roared back.
“I haven't the faintest idea what you're talking about.”
Corvus saw a smirk hidden behind all that beard, and grit his teeth.
“On three, we release it into the air! This much energy could destroy the palace!” Corvus said, changing the subject.
Obi-Wan then led the countdown, and they lifted their hands up. At that very moment, perhaps sensing his irritation, and dark emotions, the red kyber crystal he had been clutching shined brightly, and attached itself to his psyche, forming a minor bond.
Acting as a focus, the red kyber crystal added an unknown element to this already insane combination of [Force Lightning + Judgement]! Blue mixed with green, and now red came into play creating a spectacular beam of pure energy flying into the sky.
And it just so happened that the Venator flying over Theed was in the way. The moment that they collided, the capital ship lost all power, and began to nosedive into the woodlands just outside of the city. When it collided with the trees, a large orange plume whooshed into the sky.
Gasping deeply due to the physical, and mental exertion of the battle, Corvus ripped off his mask, and scowled at Obi-Wan.
“Really?!”
“Far be it from me to interrupt your performance. Besides, I'm not the one running around cosplaying as a Sith. All black, really? Now if you'll excuse me, I must ensure the safety of the Senator.” Obi-Wan bantered sarcastically, and then left without another word.
Corvus looked into the lense of his mask that he was cradling in his hands, and practically collapsed into the only miraculously surviving chair within the auditorium. His all black suit made of beskar was caked in grime, and reeked of ozone. Dozens of scorch marks marred its frame, and several places revealed skin underneath.
Watching Kenobi's back as he disappeared into the night, he knew that he was lucky to have such an ally…and maybe even, a friend.
About five minutes later, he received an incoming call from Hunter.
“It's done.” Hunter said in a low, grim voice.
“What's the situation?” Corvus demanded, sensing that something was off.
“Well, it's like this…”

In an earlier chapter he had a leveling system layed out for how strong (in terms of sheer raw force power) Corvus could draw on. If I remember correctly once he reaches levels 45-50 he hits Grandmaster levels of power, I assume this is meaning the upper teir of Grandmasters (Yoda, Satele, Kol, Luke). Even now though I wouldn't say he's weak, it's just that he doesn't prefer to fight head on. If he has to he will and he can but why should he take the more difficult path to the same outcome.

Hello I have a question when Corvus hits max level will he become strong enough to fight Perpaltine one on one and beat Vader or will he be still to weak? Will Corvus become stronger than Revan was?
