i think a lot of taylor fans cross over with harry styles fans and his fans started dressing up for his concerts in like 2021ish. using it as an excuse to dress up as him or as references to his songs and his own increasingly fun outfits. i’m not sure if that’s where it originated but i’ve noticed a big increase in concert fashion/costumes since then

Love the chill and cozy vibes in this one. I'm actually a big fan of Ariana Grande and her fanbase is very feminine, being a very positive and outspoken womens rights figure herself. Though sometimed me. being a guy in it has been deemed weird to by of my peers but I never saw anything wrong with it. I suppose it got better over time though.

Reputation Stadium Tour is on Netflix. City of Lover (Live from Paris) has 8 tracks uploaded from the Lover album that were broadcast in a concert special. There are 8 other songs from that concert set from other albums that have yet to be released. I don't have direct links, but Journey to Fearless, Speak Now World Tour Live, and 1989 World Tour Live have all been uploaded to YouTube (either in segments or in full) with GREAT video quality. The Red Tour Live has audio available, but an OFFICIAL video release of the tour will never happen. The director who filmed her through that tour was involved in a scandal involving sexual exploitation, abuse and assault. She didn't release a movie for Red tour because she refused to pay him residuals. Fan-made movies are your best bet for that.

I saw Taylor on 8/3 and thought it was crazy to be at a place with so many other women all on the same wavelength! dressing up to feel pretty for ourselves, no judgments, and all around just happy to even get to be there. such a special experience!

when maya was talking about taylor’s stage presence it reminded me a lot of hayley williams’ stage presence (the lead singer of paramore) they’re very similarly insane live and she keeps up the energy the whole time and it’s crazy because she’s only 5’2 but her reach feels so big in the stadium just like taylor’s

It also was just wild being in a stadium and realizing I'll probably never be in a crowd of this many women again in my life. I walked back to my hotel after midnight in an unfamiliar part of the city and have never felt safer than being surrounded by a bunch of other swifties.

Yay! I do think it's interesting that while Taylor has more mature lyrics and wears more revealing outfits it does still feel very grounded in being for herself and for other women then for the male gaze. Like Taylor does sexy that's meant to appeal to the person who enjoys reading smutty romance novels in a bubble bath while sipping wine.
