Posting mid-episode: This is coming from a guy, yes MANY if not almost ALL men do NOT wash their hands after going to the bathroom, especially in public settings like a bar or an airport or a rest stop. I was raised by all women and I always make it a point to wash my hands (like everyone should) after I go to the bathroom and I try to be done first so that whatever guys I'm with immediately feel the social pressure to wash their hands since I am and there have been many instances where guy friends I've been in the bathroom with at the same time have started to walk out and then saw me washing my hands and came back in and washed them. It's honestly disgusting and it pisses me off, but a quick tip, if you only very occasionally hear the hand dryer going that's a sign that only like 1/10 guys is actually washing their hands

During college, I worked 12.5 hour overnight shifts at one of the best ER’s in my state. It has both a trauma center (car accidents, gun shot wounds, etc. would be flown in) and emergency mental health. Trans man here. Yes many of us men dont wash our hands every single time in public. Me included. I will usually tho. If there are other people in the bathroom then i always will. I dont wash my hands most of the time at home but i keep hand sanitizer everywhere (normally have some on me in public too)

I do wash my hands in public, with the exception of busy bars and clubs because they're always out of paper towel or soap...or both...and the bathroom is extremely crowded. Then I just do a quick rinse and wipe off on my pants. Public spaces are petri dishes anyway.

QT I am not a swiftie and don't listen to Taylor Swift, but I did see the concert you streamed. I was planning on leaving after 10-20 minutes but I stayed because it was actually fun. I rarely go to concerts and it felt like I was there with friends. Sometimes places don’t have paper towels and the blowers are actually dirtier than my hands and I don’t want wet hands. I’m like maya in that I don’t get overtly excited about things.
