As a single man, I really enjoyed this episode, the ex-texts and the wedding talk. Watching someone passionate about a topic go off is always fun, so seeing QT talk about wedding meta's was cool! It also felt reminiscent of my childhood because I grew up with two sisters and 4 cousins (all girls) and most of them aren't around me anymore. I missed the girl talk. Actually, that's probably why I enjoy this podcast so much in general.

I’m getting married next April and definitely not doing the garter toss! My mom alone has 10 siblings! So definitely no kids beside my nieces, and only inviting immediate family, cousins, and friends. There will always be drama with a wedding so just do it however you want.

on the wedding dress topic - they also have charity shops where you can get a (used, but good condition) wedding dress and the profits go to charity. my sister got hers from one that donates to women in Haiti i also think that childfree weddings should be the default. there are not many kids under 16 that actually want to be at a wedding.

Loved the wedding talk! I’m getting married in two months so my fiancé and I recently went through the politics of not inviting children because our friends and family have about a billion children. Also loved the wedding dress section, Hayley Paige had a death grip on me in high school I thought I would wear her dress at my wedding. Completely biased but I also would love to see more vtubers on the podcast. A couple suggestions I have: Mint fantome or matara kan who currently have a podcast together with some similar energy to wine about it where they just get together once a week and talk about whatever. Takanashi Kiara from hololive English, she is currently in a more traditional vtuber corporation and could be a fantastic guest, I think she would get along with both of you very well

They're both absolute veterans who have been streaming for over a decade, Mata knows Marche from back in the day so you could talk about that and Limes is close friends with Vinny Vinesauce, she ways streaming with him before twitch was a thing and she even used to be a twitch staffer so there's a ton of interesting topics you could touch on. 🙇‍♂️

Got married in June and am living for this wedding talk. My wedding dress had a slit in the leg and it made dancing sooo easy. Changed into embroidered converse for the reception. Did NOT do a garter toss, that shits weird. We invited children to our wedding but most of our family chose to leave them at home. Our wedding was similar to what Maya was saying about family sizes being different, 70% of people we invited were from my family because my husband has a small family, he invited more friends than I did because of this so we were both happy. Like QT, my husband has way more friends than me so our bridal party was uneven but it worked out fine.

i tried both consignment and new wedding dress shops, and i bought a dress for significantly cheaper than i was intending at the consignment store and i love it. consignment and thrift stores are also a lot more relaxed and a great way to try on a bunch of different styles
