One of my favorite things about this book was the realism of frustrating relationships where there is a lack of communication and misleading assumptions. I also thought the games in the story served the plot in several ways, such as how games (and art in general) can simultaneously be a method of escapism and a way to face hard realities within a controlled space.

I like how the book explored relationships and how they are affected when you work with someone. But there were definitely moments where I was frustrated at Sadie and Marx for letting Sam get away with his behavior. 7/10
