Dear patrons!
Hello everyone and thank you so much for your patronage. β€οΈ
We moved into our new place, everything went smoothly, except internet that decided to bail on us for the release...
Just this one release for October, as predicted, but a substential one! Our module now contains 6441 webm assets! π€―
Some requests made it in this release. The more trickier ones will have to wait a bit.
In any case, we hope you like our new assets. Have a great Halloween for those of you celebrating it. π»
Contents of the release
A bunch of asteroids are joining our "Celestial Bodies" in many different shapes and numbers. Combinations of a few select ones should hopefully allow you to make a unique "Asteroid Belt" with as few assets as possible.
If you have a color or even a material in mind for a new "look", feel free to request it in our Discord server (#simple-requests channel, exclusive for our "Rare" tier Patrons and above)
The texture for these maps and the token are created by "Forgotten adventures". See their Patreon page for more !
A couple of boomerangs have been added! A more classic one and what they call a tri-boomerang, which is looking cool! Have a talk with your GM, this one should definitely deal more damage!
A new type of Energy Strand was made possible thanks to "3D Singh VFX" who generously made some of his work on Patreon available for commercial use.
The Blender's Geometry node setup used and tweaked for this project should prove quite useful to make these kinds of cool effects.
There are a lot of settings to experiment with!
This "Swirling Leaves" asset as an explosion (outburst) of leaves/petals was a patron suggestion that we knew we could make quite easily.
We made 4 colours for them, including a pink one to look like cherry-blossoms.
And here is one of the Patron requests, a liquid metal look for the vines!

We try our best to test before making the module but some mistakes do get past us every now and then... The JB2A module by itself is a library of assets so the webms will always be compatible with any version. The only thing that could go wrong would be the Sequencer Database but we made sure to make it compatible with both V9 and V10 anyways. Sequencer and Automated Animations are ready for V10 as well by the way, if you were wondering. Only Advanced Spell Effects (for DnD5e) isn't V10 compatible yet.
