It's probably a state situation bc I grew up in Ohio so maybe the groceries are just cheaper here then Washington

Idk what qts talking about I grew up similar situation with food stamps, free lunch, buying cloths from thrift stores or good will and we always had lunch meat. There where these small packs you could get for a dollar and we'd grab a couple and eat sandwiches for every meal.
