Corrupting Power

I debated about this, but at this point in the story, the lack of opsec (operational security) is meant to reflect the utter level of disarray the traditional structures are. It'll come back once they get things more nailed down, but at this point in the story, pretty much everyone's running around like chickens with their heads cut off. ;)

What a nice way to tie up the Jenny algorithm loose end while still exposing a deeper conspiracy. Or is it just individual abuses of power that add up to seem like a broader conspiracy? Also, I see the reason plot wise for convenience but phones/mobile would never be allowed in such a highly classified government facility. The situation with the Russians and the defector earlier in the story as a prime example of why not. With the ability these days to take control over your electronic devices remotely and turn on things like cameras and microphones they would provide too much of a risk to mitigate. But like I said, I’ll go with it for plot convenience. Most Hollywood productions do anyway.

Glad to hear it. The intersections of Andy and Phil's stories are a lot of fun to revisit, because it lets me shade things in a lot of different ways, and you see how Andy's been caught up into these things without his awareness.

Another awesome job at perspective shift from a previously revealed scene. You do that really well, taking a incident and turning it around, giving not only a different perspective, but a deeper meaning based on the new pov's established background knowledge. I'm of the opinion that the Quaranteam stories are your best works I've read to date. Keep up the awesome work!
