i've never gotten actually scared while camping, but the most spooked i've been was when my partner and i were primitive camping and woke up in the middle of the night to two foxes screaming (mating?) just a couple feet from our tent. it's really funny now, but at the time we were both startled out of sleep and it took us a couple minutes to wake up enough to realize what was actually happening

I don't know about Shopify but I know if you were to use Quickbooks Online for your business and pull in accts.. You can categorize the incoming shopify amounts as Sales (or break it down further for merch sale vs appt reservation income etc) and then pull weekly, monthly, quarterly etc reports on those. Same with expenses.

I think if you arranged the Deco Deco shop to have your charm shelves running through the middle of the room then customers could pick charms on either side. Also that means your tables could have their square sides flush to the walls on either side.

QT has talked about this in one of the deco deco shop prep streams. I think she said that it would be nice but isn't something they're thinking about doing yet. Waiting till later down the line once the shop settles in more.

Would Deco Deco consider doing take home kits with pre-selected charms? I think that would be fun for for groups that can’t get a time slot in the store but still want to create something. Maybe there could be a QR code in the kit that links to a YouTube channel of simple instructional videos so people still learn the basics before going full creative. Just a thought.

I feel Maya's frustration about all the refill stores being an expensive boutique experience. There might be different factors at work in Texas, but at least in California I think the biggest impedance to a low cost/value refill store is how expensive commercial real estate is. There's no way you're making rent and salary selling Tide and Dawn for 5 cents an ounce. So all the stores focus on luxury products they can sell for multiple dollars an ounce.

I want to open a Coffee Shop/Teahouse some day. Obviously there's a million things different between that and a decoden but I think it would be really helpful if you do talk about the ins and outs of running a small business. So i'm excited for that!
