Hearing QT talk about her stepmom heals my inner child a bit. My situation was very similar, not allowed to eat freely, not allowed towels, not allowed to interact with my baby brother, etc. once I threw up on the porch going to school and begged to stay to clean it up (not even to rest) because I knew it would be held against me. Still had to go to school and I was shunned for a week. I eventually had to get on a stand in a court room asking to stay with my mother, who was more abusive, just because I was tired of shivering in front of a heater after a shower. 15 years later, my dad is still with her and denys everything 🫠
