I’ve been watching WAI since the early 3-4 hr long yt eps on qts channel before they shifted to the WAI channel. It was also my intro to maya as i had never watched her content much before that. Funnily enough i’ve known of rae since her fortnite days before i was ever on the qt/yard boys/egirl rejects sphere of the streaming space, so its kinda fun to see and adds a fun layer into rae joining the WAI family. Of course this is insanely bittersweet. Qt and mayas dynamic on WAI has been so amazing and for the longest time ive used the pod as a distraction/decompressor from real world problems. Starting from the looong, more personal episodes to branching out into the silly, misinformation spreading podcast, i feel like we’ve seen so many facets of qt/maya and their growth over the years. Its gonna be tough getting used to the change. Mayas “graduation” makes complete sense but i’ll be honest i wasnt expecting it… Alas this is how it be. Thank YOU Maya for all the entertainment you’ve provided us. I’ll miss your level headedness, dry ass humour and your ability to roll with whatever crazy drama qt brings to the pod that day. I've been watching from the very beginning. What a crazy 4 years it has been. QT and Maya always gave me something to look forward to every week. Even in the hardest of times -especially then. Their dynamic is irreplaceable. Through the end of college, a ltr breakup, deaths, traumas to graduation, finding new friends, exciting new life chapters, traveling, and most importantly laughing. There was always something to connect to personally. Always a reason for me to laugh. I will miss Maya and their amazing relationship on the pod

If we're gonna be left for anything, Alveus is the absolute best reason. I had a terrible 2023 & into 2024 and didn't realise until now how much the main show had become part of my routine as background to doing weekly things, The dynamic is great and yes it will change but not in a bad way, Rae is not Maya but we don't need another Maya, I don't think there is another Maya tbh I think you once said that WAI was like your phonecall chats (edited ofc) & that really came across, you were genuine & funny & it was nice to see Maya in a less formal setting So Maya Thank you for 4 years of WAI, I love Alveus so I think that helped a bit in that its more of a 'its not goodbye' thing I genuinely & as much as it sounds like its made up, genuinely was about to sign upto Press Esc. on here and the 20Min goodbye episode dropped the next day so at least this time its staying :D

What an incredible achievement it is to have this podcast for so long, and it's not ending but changing. The conversations and chats Maya and QT would have with humour and sincerity and so much more made wine about it seem so comfortable--even when discussing topics that are maybe more heavy.
