Had a CT scan with dye a few years ago, I've never done drugs in my life but I legitimately loved the feeling of the dye going through me, if drugs feel like that I get it, it was wild, all the nurses were shocked, said they never had someone enjoy it before 😅

I wanted to share this because I too suffered from OCD since I was 7. Developed MDD and GAD. A year ago I was ready to take my life because OCD made it too unbearable, but I learned from two women close to me about something called TMS therapy and how they went from depression to living nearly depression free. It stands for Transcranial Magnetic Therapy and it nearly cured my depression and OCD (not perfect but so so much better)! It’s about 30 sessions, ~20 mins per session, for ~30 week days. A little device sits on your head and sends MRI level vibrations into your brain where depression and OCD are (since they are caused by a lack of simulation in the brain). Insurance is starting to cover this as normal health care with how much research is supporting the success of this! Within the first 7 days, I spent my first day completely free from depression and OCD. It is something I’ve only ever dreamed of and now that I’ve experienced that freedom, I want everyone to look into TMS! It’s such an unknown but super affective form of treatment. Qt and Rae, please never stop being yourselves. I look forward to this podcast every week. I love it!!

Hey, Rae, it's okay to feel sad despite all of your "privilege". Being constantly criticised by unknown people on the internet is so hard for the mental health, I don't think anybody can deny that. It is normal to dissociate and shelter in your comfort zone for awhile, heal, and get back stronger. Wishing you ladies all the best, thank you for your wonderful podcast❤️

Rae, At the end of the day, we can only try our best and reflect on that truthfully. It’s natural yet unnatural that suffering will always exist in others while we have it better. And it’s infuriating , that helplessness, that guilt, that ache. But you’re not alone in feeling it. I see that hurt, and regardless of where you are in it, your empathy means something. It’s what keeps the world from going completely numb.
