Status update Episode 7

Ok I can’t understand why anyone would hate the creator of this masterpiece - maybe they’re young and don’t know any better. As I have said above this is a great piece of work ; character development, various story arcs , renders , music and layout are all as good - if not better than anything else out there - some other games have great writing but this raises the bar significantly - keep up the good work! ( psst .. save Melissa 😫 )

Disgusting that people would stoop to insults and threats over story choices in your game, but on the other hand it shows how invested people are in your characters. Acting Lessons is definitely a level above anything else out there in terms of immersion and range of emotions. It's by far my favorite so far, and I have no doubt future chapters will continue to be top notch!!

No one enjoys pain or loss, but it's an everyday thing that happens, which you must learn to cope with to stay alive and not crumble. I understand that most may not want it in their forms of entertainment, often used to escape real life, but there are many who want a good story and those loaded topics definitely makes for one.

This game is about physical pain, emotional pain, and loss. First it is the MC, then Megan, then Melissa, then Liam, then Rena ... and on and on. Normal people do not enjoy pain and loss.

You've created a wonderful game that satisfies more than just lust over what anyone would expect from adult themed visual novels. I've only played a handful of these games, but yours will be one I will fondly remember for the all the fun, joyful, and even tragic (some ambivalent mixture of these) emotions you've been able to draw from me with your fantastic characters and immersive storytelling. F*cking hell that ending gutted me hard, I was sitting here laughing at one moment at the jokes Liam and ''I'' shared and then you move to that.. f*ck man, because of my choices in the previous episodes so did I have to go with Melissa... But damn, that is one of the hardest choices I have ever taken in a VN... Keep on rocking, I am going to see this story through no matter what! And I am also looking forward to your next game, your storytelling is a refreshing addition to the adult VN scene, and even though you say you don't focus much on the sexual scenes, so do I have to say that you more than enough cover that in each update so I am not complaining in that regard either.

Don't worry about the haters. I loved the update even though it gutted me, but Liam and the MCs relationship is genuinely awesome and all the character interactions are what keep me coming back

I'm not gonna say I feel happy about how the episode played out. Though, the reason why this game is so good is because of the emotions that it made me feel. Just this one had some bad feels in it, but feels all the same. Great game, great story, and I'm praying for a happy ending or at least some closure. If I dont get any, I expect Mr Pink to pay for my Therapy. Thanks!

You really know how to hit people in the feels. It took me a good while to decide fate. The music you chose really hits you too and enforces the fact that you are screwed. Continue the great work you are doing. I can't wait to see what you do next.

For a while I was shocked and angry with how this update ended. Now I really appreciate it. A very bold move and very well done, Sir. My reaction to the end of this update reminds me of the first time I read "A song of ice and fire" (Game of Thrones) and got to the Red Wedding part. After reading a part of that, I threw the book at the wall in my living room and I didn't read any further for a couple of days. After that, I was ok with it and my respect for Mr. Martin grew. Well the target demographic is, as the post states, me. It may sound arrogant, but it's the truth. I would do this game with 0 patreon support and keep this hobby regardless. It's a creative outlet for me, one that allows me to create my dream games. That said, I can see why people are disappointed in how the tone of the game has changed, but saying from day 1 that it will be a depressing journey would ruin the experience.

I hate everything you've done. Why wasn't there more Leah time? How come Megan changed her hair? Why was Liam showed on his back in the crowd when he was supposed to be going face first? How could you get rid of the Liam mobile? Fix this, or I will ask for my $1 back.

As I have said before your writing and the artwork in this game is second to none. You definitely have a gift and I am hoping that this is the first game in what is going to be the start of something big for you. Whilst any kind of hate mail is going way too far, the only thing I will say - and this is in no way any kind of criticism - is that I would suggest the target demographic or type of people who might be playing these kind of games do so to escape the problems of everyday life and focus on the adult side of the game. We seem to have moved away from having sex with hot girls to focusing on other issues. If these issues are ones that are close to home for you and this is a creative outlet to deal with them - full power to you. All I would suggest is that maybe you do not forget the target demographic. It is hard to fap when you are crying.

Dam that was fast LUL. Good update. I gotta say though this is what I been looking for and glad I stumble playing your game. I love how you give us the players a hard time with tough choices to make instead having it easy especially with the romances lol. I really love the journey you have taken us through so far especially those cliffhangers xd. Though in the end I hope you can give us the endings that will satisfy our heart desires :D. But "Hope is a dangerours thing" (the feels) am I right? XD Anyway enough rambling. Good job so far and keep up the good work, you deserve it :).

I think what made you get a lot of loud (And negative) feedback was because what you did with the latest episode just isnt done with games like this. No one expected that shocking scene. Congratulations, you've bucked trends and proved that this genre can be more than just shallow smut. I'm pretty devastated too but it's because you've immersed me in a story that I didnt expect to care so much about. Can't fault good storytelling no matter how it makes me feel. Looking forward to what happens next.
