Let's start with some great news! Acting Lessons is virtually complete.
It's currently out for beta testing and proofreading. After which, I will fix the bugs/dialogue and start to package the release.
I know that you're eager to play it and you will, on December 14th.
The deadline for being in the credits of Acting Lessons has passed; it's no longer possible to get that Legend patron reward or to change your name.
Some stats for Episode 8:

It is officially the biggest episode yet, in terms of content. But it will not feel like the longest episode. This is because it has 22 endings and, according to my beta testers, a single playthrough, of one ending, takes about 30 minutes.
BADIK
As I'm done rendering for AL, I have started working on animations for BADIK. It's almost time to start working seriously on this project, but since it's Christmas I will squeeze in some time to rest up, too. I've been working my ass off to bring you the final AL Episode.
One thing I want to improve upon, in general, is animations. I love producing animations!
I don't want to promise something I can't deliver, but as I'm writing this a 400 frames animation is rendering on my two PCs. It will result in a 17 second long animation, flawlessly looping while having unique motions throughout.
I have never attempted this before and it will take me 7-8 days to render this animation, using both PCs at full effect. It's a huge commitment to a single animation, but that's what I want for BADIK. I don't want to hold anything back.
In general, it will be difficult reporting progress on BADIK. Because, I will be doing longer animations than before. I could say "Hey guys! This week I did two animations!" and you might say "That's all?", when in fact those two animations could be equal to 400 renders.
My main concern when reporting future progress is that the animation count doesn't reflect the work and quality behind them. That's something that will feel different from before in these status updates.
Due to my full-time job and because I want to do BADIK bigger and better, I will never be able to release monthly again. Before you start comparing me to what other developers do, remember, I'm a one man team. I will state this clearly on my updated Patreon page, but I don't want to have to say it in every status update from now on. So, that's why I'm informing you of this right now. I will do my best to bring you quality content as fast as possible and to always keep you updated; that I can promise!
I won't report any progress on BADIK until after AL is released, but today I want to announce the name of the game, the synopsis, a new patreon goal and the Patreon tiers that will take effect starting January 1st, 2019.
I intend to start updating the Patreon page a few days before New Years Eve.
The Discord server will be updated starting the week after the release of AL Episode 8.
Now to the fun stuff!
The name of the new game is Being a DIK
Synopsis:
A young man, from a low-income family, moves away from his widowed father and his summer love to attend college at Burgmeister & Royce. As he is cast into freshman life and persuaded to join the up-and-coming fraternity Delta Iota Kappa, he'll be exposed to a new world filled with conflicts, alcohol, drugs and sex.
The new patreon goal:
When I reach 1000 patrons I will hold a poll where patrons will help design a lewd scene. The polls will consist of choice of girl, choice of clothing and sexual positions.

A note for the $5 and $10 tiers: keep in mind that you're getting the game with animations this time around. That content was locked to $20 pledges with Acting Lessons and it's a huge improvement of what you get for that pledge, even if you have to wait a little bit longer for it.

No problem. It is easy to be confused. Badik will not have an extras version. All versions are the same. You pay more to play a little earlier, so $10 tier gives you the same game as the $25 one, just 3 days later. Same applies for $5 tier but with 2 weeks of waiting. I stated in an earlier post in November that I am not doing walkthroughs for badik, Android is also off the table due to several reasons. I can link you the post later if you want to read up. As for AL, starting January you get the full game with Extras and walkthrough for $10. To get that content in December you would have to had pledged $20. Let me know if you're still confused.

I guess I'm easily confused. But your proposed new tier rewards specify Acting Lessons in some of them. That game will long completed by January, when this new tier structure is to go into effect. Will those references still apply to the BADIK game. In particular, I would like to know if there will be Extras and Walkthroughs available at the $10 (or any other) level to subscribers for the BADIK game? I apologize if my thick skull has difficulty comprehending what must be readily apparent to you. Thank you for providing us with your thoughts for the future. I appreciate it.

I could, but there are other reasons as to why I don't want to be connected to AL universe. So you'll have to take my word for it. Zero connections.

It was indeed. It was an early idea to have it a prequel, but it would limit a lot of things I wanted to do. So, I can assure you, zero connections to AL. Just that the DIK acronym appears in both.
