Update: I downloaded the patch from GOFILE and patched it again. Windoze is asking me if I want to replace all of the files so I know it's overwriting the previous files, but it makes no difference. The issue is in Rooster. When I open the app then move my cursor over the play button in the video, I get the exception every time. It's fine as long as I don't do that.

I used Mediafire because GOFILE was going to take over an hour and I'd prefer not to sign up for MEGA. I'll try D/Ling the patch from GOFILE now since I am heading to bed shortly. Thanks.

Sounds like there was a problem with patching. If you're using MEGA extension for downloading, there could be a bug with this. Can you try downloading again, maybe from another host?

Edit: This was fixed with patch 0.7.2 I'm getting the same exception reported earlier during the DIK mansion freeroam. I deleted the contents of the cache folder but it made no difference. Here's the exception: Compiling ATL code at game/season2/scripts/new_phone/apps/pack_quest_app/mphone_pack_quest_img.rpy:10 File "game/season2/scripts/freeroam/episode7/ep7_freeroam_diks_big.rpy", line 149, in Exception: Creating subsurface failed. child size = (500.0, 680.0), crop = (0, 0, 468, 829) I have a save file at that point in time if needed although I am not on Discord.

I found the whiskey by chance, and after i played Chik mode 1st and then Dik mode being way funnier, i will continue Chik mode in episode 8.

Hi! Yes, this can happen between updates. The only screen that's guaranteed to work is the ending screen which tells you to save your game. If other saves work, it's a gamble. You can try to reload your save in the previous version, play the game a bit and save again. That might put it back into gear with the new version. That's the only fix for this problem.

Thanks for your work!) I also have some problems with loading saves from previous episodes: it throws me somewhere near the actual moment I saved, so I need to repeat a few actions to reach that point, or it just crashes with "An exception has occured" whatever this is.

Think i am going to replay this in Dik mode 1st time was Chik because well Josy, Maya, Jill and Bella. And in Dik mode you get the sexy milf Jade.

I know the minimap isn't necessarily going to have every single room, but I did spend a pretty significant amount of time searching a room for something that wasn't there because I didn't realize there was a second room of that type available... felt like an idiot once I found it.

Thanks for the feedback. The minimap was added to ease with navigation and perhaps there are still some QoL improvements left in this area. I'll ponder if it can be improved somehow in the future.

Your hard work really shows in this patch. Nice work. My two cents, the navigation around rooms in house is still confusing and frustrating even with the quick travel. If there is standard like up arrow at top to enter a room then down arrow at botton to get back to the original room would help a lot too. also a minmap may help, just throwing ideas
