I think even some of the big publishers would benefit of regular updates to fans of the progress on titles they are waiting for, instead of getting troublesome launches of bug-filled, mildly polished testers

It's really cool that we get to see behind the scenes work of an episode and we also get an idea of how much effort, talent and creative mind you put in the update. And it also gives us the patience to wait for an update because we can see from the status updates that the wait for the update is going to be worth it. higher tiers get it three days before the lower tiers on Patreon - as for Steam and GoG I am not sure because I get mine here (Note: mini DIK tier gets it 2 weeks after release - and the lowest tier does not get access to download)

What "early access"? Those on the Patreon get the episodes when they are done, and those on higher tiers get it sooner than those at the lower tiers, so that might be the "early access" you are thinking of. Note that nothing is going to stop you from going to a higher donation level for a month to get it as quickly as possible after release.

Patreon, we get the episodes as they are finished, so unlike those on Steam/GoG, we actually get the episodes sooner, and there is less of a wait.

Love this game and the all the paths you can choose. But…it’s been over a year and a half since it was teased that there could be a connection between Lynette and the Royce family. I was hoping for more on this storyline in the last update, but all we got (on the Jill path) was that the MC taped the pictures of his mom and Jill BOTH standing below the Royce mansion, and apparently he didn’t notice this major detail?? I hope the two year wait will be worth it…
