I am at somewhere beyond the 60 playthrough mark, and I still run into little things that I didn't see before.

You can also try reducing resolution way way way down and see if that helps. Playing at 4k doesn't do me any favors for some of the mini-games.

That is why there was a slight delay in the announcement that beta testing had begun. When it is THAT close to being done, a delay of a few days makes sense. Now, if mistakes are found during the beta process, some scenes or animations may need to be re-rendered to fix those problems, and we will NEVER hear about those. We won't know how many problems are found during the beta testing process as well. So, kick back, and wait. The longer it takes for beta to finish means there are problems that are being found and fixed. We also won't know how much direction the beta testers get, because there are so many things that will be really hard to find based on previous choices as well as the choices made during the new episode.

Actually, I wanted to be a dik first. But I lost my desire to listen to the words of the people who have commented on my questions so far. And after listening to you, I realized how much responsibility it takes to be a dik's beta tester.

One way you can think of it is that we get each episode as they are completed, so beta testers get it first, but then those on the Patreon side. Steam players get the SEASONS after they are done, so in a way, we will be able to find problems before Steam people get to play. I will note that being a beta tester is...boring. You don't just get to play it first, you have to really look for problems, minor rendering issues, issues here and there, then, you get to play it after the round of fixes, and you get to repeat the process, see if it's fixed, as well as looking for other problems. It's less about PLAYING than it is about looking for bugs/mistakes, and it takes a special sort of person not to do it for a few weeks and then decide that PLAYING is fun, but beta testing can take a LOT of fun out of it. There will be some people who really enjoy FINDING the bugs, but then, it can be really annoying when you find nothing too, because someone else found the bug you would have stumbled across and it has now been fixed. I've seen it, and know that I definitely don't have the mindset to WANT to be in on the beta testing phase. I appreciate what they do, and don't envy them for seeing the content sooner, because it really is work.

I'm just resigning myself to not getting those renders. Tried the trick Doc pointed out and still no go. Also on the Zoey Paint I noticed speedups on the dots moving that I assume are part of the game but it will move like two or three times before I can even react. Like I said...Im old and slow :D

Most of the red dots are in the middle of the screen usually in between the mouse and the location of the next blue dot. Usually the area behind has fewer dots so what I did was to keep my mouse to the outer edges of the screen and moved in where there were no red dots. Took a few tries since you have to go pretty quick with the 20 second timer but was able to get S on all doing it that way on all challenges.

He already has his list of Beta Testers from previous episodes that have been Patreon supporters for awhile not sure how to become one but think the spots are already taken from what most say.

Never. There won't be any beta releases. Beta testing is done internally and when it is ready, it will drop. I bet round about a month left.

everything is based on posts and you have access to certain posts based on what you subscribe. You should see the first one being pinned as the season 10 download if you can see it otherwise if you go into the membership area at the top there is a list of links to all of the downloads for all of the different versions of Being a Dik or Acting Lessons that you are looking for in the "Welcome from Dr. Pink Cakes" just have to click Show more.

Some feel it's easier to make the game window smaller so you'll cover a bigger distance with the mouse faster. If that's cheating or not, that's up to you. ;)

I just have to repeat it... DPC, your coherence with the branching is dope. I played my 23rd complete playthrough with some changes here and there and uncovered (smaller) dialogues with Josy that I have seen the first time. Simply great! Keep on doing what you do and take the time for quality checks that you need. It's worth it!

I would also point out that you can get a wide variety of different content by playing different love interest routes and Chick and DiK alterations. You may miss new content if you do not have a variety of plays.

upon rereading the announcement we probably will not get another update till next Friday or next week. He says he will only give 1 more once the beta starts but that wont start till the renders are done. So we will probably just get an update next week hopefully sooner if the Rendering goes faster

Being a beta tester is a responsibility, and it is also painful to check the same stuff again, and again, and again, and again. It's not just being able to experience something sooner than others, it's about looking for mistakes, and looking VERY closely for things that most people would miss.

I'd say at least 4 weeks but don't be surprised if it's even 6. I can't remember last time for sure but considering how big it is (bigger than ep10) I would say 4 weeks minimum

I didn't really have a problem with pancakes but I didn't aim for perfect score either. It might have been important when we're talking about potential CUM-petition mini game ;). It was just a suggestion anyway, I'm no game dev. and that would present another set of variables depending on how you did. Not possible at this stage but still just the idea

You can import and continue you end of S2 playthroughs from Steam directly into the S3 Patreon version, as long as you followed the instructions given at the end of the season save.

Hello Doc, You've got to be kidding us...over 7,000 renders and over 390 animations!!!! In one update!!! That's just pure madness. I know of finished AVNs that have anywhere near as many renders, let alone animations. You are GOAT. Thank you for the effort you put in, thank you for this MEGA update, thank you for Sage, Josy, Maya, Jill, Bella and all the other fantastic and lovable characters you created, just thank you for this great game.
