Hey there - I finished episodes 1-9. I resubbed for a bit in order to continue into episodes 10 and 11 but none of the downloads have worked for me unfortunately. How can I add that patch and have my saves saved? I finish season 2 and save files into the transfer section but they don't show up. Thanks :)

you need 5 files, the z01-04 and the zip. When you extract the zip, it draws from the z01-04 as well. Once extracted and everything is good, you copy just the contents of the "patch" folder to you v10 game. The z01-4 and zip can be backed up incase you need to repatch in the future

You get this error when loading a save that was not made on the End of Episode screen where it had SAVE HERE NOW in blue. Seems most commonly people are save past that screen on the end of episode report screen. The crash can happen (or a rewind backwards of many screens) when you load a save before the End of Episode screen. This is because changes back in Interlude, ep9 and ep10 can cause the save point to be out of sync with the new code. If you have a copy of v10, you can load that up and either rollback your save (or progress forward) to the End of Episode screen and save. Then launch v11. There isn't a "fix" for out of sync crashes, if you don't have v10, then you need to go back to a save loading point or even reimport a transfer save.

If you are at the $10 or higher tier, you can get the full Season 3 download. Patreon isn't Steam with unlimited downloads, so it always good practice to make a backup of your original download. It is also good practice when patching to copy your installation first and patch the copy. This way you can recover from your original installation in case of problems.

Hi, somehow i was unable to install the patch. I got the zip extracted etc. but something is off, i am stuck at ep. 10. Unfortunately i wanted to reinstall the whole game and deleted the folder, just to realise i can't reinstall the game of the patch alone. Any chance to get a downloadlink for the whole game? I rescued my saves, but deleted everythin else..

Sounds like you are trying to launch the patch itself or you misapplied the patch. If you made a backup of your game before patching, restore it and reapply the patch. There are instructions with the download. Be sure to copy the contents of the patch folder into "game" and not the patch folder itself. Make sure the patch files are not 0 bytes in size before you copy. It they are, redownload the patch files and re-extract.

Native windows Extract can't properly handle split archives. Make sure you are using winrar or7zip to extract by selecting their option on the context menu (might need to do show more options) to bring up the extract options for them.

You patched Season1/2 with Season 3. That's not how you should do it. Season 3 should be treated as its own game. To fix this, redownload Season 1/2 and Season 3. Keep them separate from each other. This error only happens if I use BeingADIK-0.11.1-pc-lin-patch.zip file, I re-downloaded it twice, to see if that corrected it, which it did not, then I downloaded BeingADIK-0.11.1-pc-lin-patch.z01 BeingADIK-0.11.1-pc-lin-patch.z02 BeingADIK-0.11.1-pc-lin-patch.z03 BeingADIK-0.11.1-pc-lin-patch.z04 and I got no errors and was able to patch it to BeingADIK-0.11.1, so the only issue is the BeingADIK-0.11.1-pc-lin-patch.zip file I cannot get to work at all, as for Winrar it is something you have to purchase, and not a free product. Hi! Can you try extracting with Winrar? Sounds like one of your files might be corrupted and needs to be redownloaded. To check which one is corrupted, right click each file and check Properties. Compare the "size on disk" byte to this: .z01 - .z04 files should be 1 572 864 000 byte(size on disk) the .zip file should be 354 754 560 byte (size on disk) If your files don't match, redownload that file.

Not sure why but the z03 downloads way slower than the others. I eve downloaded the z04 and zip before I tried downloading it again but it is too slow. What could be the reason for it?

The phone/music lists are synced with your persistent file. If there's an issue with it, you may have to remove it to restore the songs. You can try this by temporarily move the persistent file from game/saves and C:/users/your name/AppData/Roaming/RenPy/Being A DIK See if the songs return when you play on a fresh persistent file.

Hi! Sounds like your save can't load in v0.11.1 because it's saved at a spot that was changed. Always save at the end of the episode to avoid these issues. You can fix it by loading your save in your old v0.10.0/v0.10.1 version and play to another spot of the game, then save again. Then load that save in v0.11.1 and it should work.

Once you extract the zip file, go into the folder created and there is a little video you can watch. Basically, you will go into the subfolder called "patch". Before you proceed, check the file sizes to make sure none are 0 bytes. If so, one or more of your downloads is corrupted. Delete this and the downloads, clear your cache, and redownload (one at a time), and then extract. Go back into the subfolder "patch". Once inside you select all file (control-a), then copy (control-c). Then navigate to your v10 installation. Go into the subfolder "game". Then paste the files (control-v). When prompted to overwrite/replace say yes. You can go up to the BeingADIK.exe and run the app. You should see 11.1 in the bottom right. You can archive the .zip and .z0 files you downloaded as backups incase you need to patch again in the future.

be sure you are not in the WinRAR UI when trying to copy files from one folder to another. All you need to so is in File Folder is to right-click and choose Winrar's extract... then you navigate in File folder to the patch subfolder that extracted and copy the contents of the patch folder to you v10/game folder.

Hi! Check the video next to the patch folder that you unzipped. Make sure you copied and pasted the files like that. I've seen people copy the entire patch folder into "game" and that's NOT how you do it. Make sure the files within the "patch" folder are directly in the "game" folder.

Make sure you have deleted the files you downloaded before you redownload, as files probably getting renamed with (1) etc at the end. The files you download need to be named identically in your download folder: BeingADIK-0.11.1-pc-lin-patch.zip BeingADIK-0.11.1-pc-lin-patch.z01 BeingADIK-0.11.1-pc-lin-patch.z02 BeingADIK-0.11.1-pc-lin-patch.z03 BeingADIK-0.11.1-pc-lin-patch.z04 Then right click the .zip file and extract with winrar or 7-zip, that's all.

Also clear your browser cache before you restart downloading 1 at time; otherwise, you might pull a glitched file from cache vs a fresh copy from the server.

Maybe you're downloading too many at once? I find that downloading multiple files works best when I only do two at a time. I'm still downloading so I guess I'll find out, but usually when I have issues it's because of too many at once or timing out issues.

I just get a black screen during certain scenes (the sex scenes mainly) I assume I've uploaded the files wrong somehow?

Actually, there is still a problem, when I put the patch in my game map, it replaces eveything, but when I load up the game, episode 11 isnt there for some strange reason. files like ep11_images are in the game map though. any ideas?

1. Download all files. z01-z04 and the .zip file. 2. Make sure winrar is installed. 3. Right click the .zip file and choose "Extract here" with winrar 4. Wait until it's done. 5. You will have a folder unzipped now. Enter it and the patch and information how to patch is inside as usual.

for some reason patch.z02, patch.z03 and patch.z04 when I download them there is no content in them. I also downloaded winrar and 7-zip. Any idea on what I may be doing wrong here?

I'd edit this before your IT Manager finds it. A multi file zip is a sensible approach especially for those that struggle with a stable Internet Connection which might keep dropping out. Also it functionally make no difference unzipping the file if you're using something like 7Zip.

Hi, extracting of patch is fail, I always get the message: Insert disc 5, but I downoaded all files and all have the full size specification (346MB for Zip and 1,5GB for .z01-.z04 files)

I have downloaded all of the zipped files on the DPK Patreon site. I have downloaded and opened WINRAR. When I read the file on how to unzip, the example file names all have the word patch embedded. Mine do not - the all look like this BeingADIK-0.11.1-pc-lin.z09. Also I'm instructed to click on what looks like a little pile of books to start the unzip process. I don't see anything like that. I cannot join DISCORD because of some security/password issue that I can't solve. What now? Can you help?

I can't upload single zip files to Patreon server. The Patreon server is fast, free, reliable and doesn't get leeched on by link sharing. It's been a simple process for most players, so I don't agree with you. I think it's a great method and I will continue using it.

Why TF are there 6 files for a patch? Your old distribution method was WAY better. Took me 20 minutes to install episode 11, and I work in IT! I can imagine all the aggravation non IT people had. Downloading 1 zipped file to MEGA was better. Put those files in the zip! Most zips I just right click and choose extract here, done in 2 seconds. While I have used winrar and 7 zip I didn't have either on my latest build, and I shouldn't have too.
