Thnks for taking the time! Will fix the issues today :D For Amanda, I answered in the other comment but I 100% agree with what you guys are saying. I just worry that I displayed some stuff inconsistently (I remember getting some comments in RR) and I want to make things consistent. Actually the image of her you and touch have is perfect. Slightly evil (but not irredeemable), ambitious, and now realizing she'd benefit more by being in his corner and it's now her mission to push him to the tap. That way she benefits the most. Her old characterization is just not clear in my mind ( 6+months and two stories would do that). Just gonna make sure everything fits. :)

"Aka, violent explosions." > "Aka, concussive impact due to violent explosions." "She’d been misguided, of course." > "That would have been a mistake, of course." Instead of saying it like she was under a bad influence or a brief moment of madness, it would be better to subtly underscore the implied fact that they would have died without his help. Their alternate thinking is not bad at all ^^ If you can't fight them directly, make use of the terrain to do it for you ^^ Gotta agree with the other guy. Amanda wasn't 'evil' per see in the first place, just extremely ambitious and driven. She wasn't okay with Lance methods, and not just because of morals, she knew that such methods would bring consequences on them. Her character already make sense, and she didn't act directly or indirectly against Ethan, just wished for his disappearance. She doesn't align with Ethan because she like him and want to make ammends, but because she want to matter on the grand scale of things, control her environment in the apocalypse. Since she can't use her old plan and doesn't have the personnal power to carve a piece of the pie herself, it makes sense for her to jump on Ethan boat and content herself with ruling the city. She have enough sense to know her limits and Ethan's potential, no need to edit her character for that, since, as Touch said, it would reduce her overall effectiveness. She's never going to be a Liz in the first place ^^

Touch

Which this chapter establishes she’s “trustworthy” already

Ngl I wish you didn’t edit Amanda to be less evil, but instead show pov that when she almost died/captured, it put things in perspective for her. And make her know that humanity is on the same side or grateful to MC or smth. Because if she’s manipulative and (a little) evil, but is loyal and cooperative to Ethan, it just go to shows that she can manage the city to get the best result without hesitation. This would show she’s more “competent” bc she doesn’t think twice what need to be done but focus that power for good (city good, she got rewards from city and system, MC protect, but under condition she is good)
