Vote on the Future of Anthro Heat

This month we're aiming for workshop support, fixes, and QoL features. Next month or the one after I'd like to launch our cow character. Look forward to a preview of her soon!
Multiplayer?
Multiplayer is an ambitious goal. The idea would be to allow small instances of 2-4 people to have intimate moments for one another. It'd be like VRChat but with full collision (allowing you to actually touch your partner and not phase through), hole physics, fluid physics, NPCs, and all the other features of Anthro Heat. The use case is intended for people that already know each other and want a powerful sandbox to interact in.
As part of this, we would hopefully be able to make a system that allows existing VRChat avatars to be uploaded to the game with minimized setup. There would still certainly need to be some, but not nearly to the extend that existing modded characters require.
The Alternative
If we don't do multiplayer, we'll continue focusing on the core of the game - better NPC interactions. Likely things like idle animations, some autonomy, and QoL features. Maybe even characters that can move around the world. The idea would be to make them less "doll" like.
In both cases
Both of these features are extremely ambitious and will take at least a year of development time and represent the long term goals of the game. In either case the art team will continue to work on new characters and locations on the side, and bug fixes and smaller features will continue to be added.
Please vote the directions you'd like us to take Anthro Heat in! As usual this poll is not binding, but will greatly assist in us making a decision and it's unlikely we'll go against it. Thank you guys for your support!

I'm sad to see how many people don't want multiplayer, I found this game yesterday and the first I looked for was muliplayer so me and my long-distance partner could have some vr fun together hehe. I hope you still consider adding multiplayer somewhere down the line

It sounds like Multiplayer would have mainstream appeal. Reskin to fleshie, and cater to both at the same time, maybe even get sponsorships.

Definently add multiplayer after updating the core game, would love to see some of my vrc avatars in anthro heat someday but definently need the game to be ready for everything so i agree with focusing on core mechanics for now and other stuff and maybe next year do multiplayer 😊👍

In my opinion, there is simply a limit to how "real" something can seem when it is fundamentally not a real person. You can add more "tricks" to each magician, but you can't change the fact that once you've seen a trick a few times, it's not so interesting. Especially with VRC cracking down on NSFW content, I would frankly beg you to consider multiplayer someday, even if most people want the first priority to be singleplayer. Perhaps you could charge extra for a DLC or standalone release on the same engine that has multiplayer!!

Me personally I like it singleplayer. Multiplayer is a hecking load of complexity to a game that's nice if you're alone and still want some closeness. AnthroHeat Multiplayer is something that we can kinda already have in VRC, but we can't have a cozy unleashed private experience of that in Singleplayer :D
