Correct. Everyone is here because they are fans of the content and hope that all is well with him. But when you are taking people’s money you owe it to them to at the very least give an honest expectation of what to expect and when. I would suggest to Jack that he commit to a weekly written update that comes out at a scheduled time every week. He should also consider taking a long enough break to create a backlog of content for when he’s not able to dedicate time to his art. Announce the hiatus and give people a choice as to wether or not to continue supporting during his break.

I guess you can say that nobody here wishes Jack anything bad. What people understandably get upset about is the lack of communication. If Jack doesn't find time to work on things, he should just say so. But to say nothing is simply disrespectful to his patreons.

Yes I am happy to pay for potentially nothing but jack has delivered plenty this year I think maybe he needs a break and will be back to full strength in the new year. He is very critical of his work and we end up with a better a product because of it - if this takes longer to produce that's fine by me.

Hell beckons is absolutely my favorite thing in the genre and it’s not close. Love it and would support indefinitely. That said, if Jack is going to take people’s money he needs to at least commit to regular communication or be willing to pause billing if he needs a break. He should commit to a weekly update if there is new content or not.

I’ve supported a couple of other creators that produce less than Jack and I have no complaints because you know what to expect and when and they stick to it. Another creator takes several months a year off and it’s fine because they pause billing.

i think that first you have to finish a work (HB) and after you start a new work otherwise there is a lot of confusion. At maximum you could consider to do some b-projects like the mini serie about christmas oor superheroes.

14 days from the last promised update and not a word at all. I do hope he’s okay but as soon as my subscription expires that’s the end of my support.

Like Gas_G and SamD put it. He shouldn’t be putting out updates with TONIGHT emphasized. We’re in double digits since that announcement was put out. It’s not hating, it’s holding a creator accountable when they make a same day announcement they would release their newest art. With that being said I hope he is okay and doing well. But like other supporters have mentioned, this isn’t the first or second or even third time this happened. It’s a consistent problem. So like other supporters I too have stopped my renewal. Additionally, I’ve pinged him several times about a doable commission that he seemed eager about and he told me he would work with me on an outline and storyboard and the planning never came.

Comeone guys, dont hate too much or reconsider you’re support level. Maybe something serious happend in real life. Or maybe even he’s in hospital so that’s why he cant upload or respond to our comments. Just wish him the best and hope to hear from Jack soon!

I do understand the amount of work and the time pressure, however it would be great if you get in touch with us when you are not able to deliver the content we pay for. Love your art and creativity nonetheless tho, please keep up the good work.
