I like the image of 1 better for the punch and characters, and 2 is better for the background.

Hard to say. 1 seems to have better details, but some lines in 2 just pop more.

the punch part is nicer with line type 2 (you feel more the hit), the background is nicer with line type 1

It's hard to do a comparison because the stupid thing shifts every few seconds. Next time, maybe a side-by-side comparison instead of rapidly switching between 2 pics?
