Known Bugs + How Resources/Enemies spawn in Alex's minigame.
🕑 Added 2023-04-02 06:34:31 +0000 UTCHi everyone, one thing I didn't mention before is how resources work in Alex's minigame in v2.9. The attached image should hopefully make more sense.
First off, known MAJOR bugs:
- To recruit Miyu, you need a paperclip, 1 rope, and 1 arrow set in your inventory. However, if you have any one of the above BUT not all of them then Miyu will not respond.
- Jiayi has a double in her office sometimes. Will be fixed in next version of the game.
Resources randomly spawn, and randomly give x of x amount. But to stop the player from just swapping between maps to make everything respawn and to encourage them explore and see the hardships of being a tiny (and enjoy the dead bodies for awhile). Every map has a 1 in 5 chance to despawn and then respawn everything. So if you find you've run out of resources, just swap between maps until you notice the dead bodies from enemies you've killed are gone, or resources have moved/reappeared. Some maps don't even have spawn points (that's why you won't see food/water ones often), and underground is more dangerous but has more resources down there in the main caverns than the surface world.
Would also appreciate more feedback for Japanihon/this minigame too so I can fine tune it more towards the next version. Thanks!

I'll probably lower the respawn rate from 1 in 5 to 1 in 3 instead in next update and maybe up a few spawns. Might make enemies drop some resources too to make them worth farming instead of just for exp. I just didn't want resources to be too easy to get and collect everything in 10mins, and not to just swap between maps to respawn cheat repeatedly :p Also there are 3 paper clips hidden in the minigame. But only need 1 for Miyu and 1 for Blake.

I duplicated the Miyu glitch once but I got it to clear once I gave Blake what he needed from my inventory. I still haven't recruited her because I'm having trouble finding sticks for the arrow bundle. Worked out a great rope farm by entering and leaving the TRF camp multiple times though
